@rachomics @ChuckIOM @taxagenomics @ManxRadio Hi Rache Im sorry to disagree but I am not wrong. You are employed as contract bank staff you are not an employee of DHSC.
@timglovermrash @rachomics @ChuckIOM @taxagenomics @ManxRadio Hi Tim, no it is correct Rachel is a contractor to the department working within the microbiology department as bank staff and is not a DHSC employee.
@christhomasiom Just relisten back to the full 7 minute interview and the only point I mention cases being inline with population numbers is in relation to IM2 at 3m 10sec. 84 cases in IM2 equal to 25% of cases, on my maths population of IM2 is around 25%.
@MichaelJosem Its not dumping its stating a fact. I dont recall Chris asking any questions at the time. Happy to be proved wrong if thats the case. Also that statement breaches neither collective responsibility or confidentiality as it gives no detail of discussions.
@christhomasiom You sat in all the COMIN meetings so you know answer to your own question. The Abbotswood cluster was an outbreak across the home now subject to a police investigation. Also I dont recall you asking a single question during any of those meetings at the time?
@christhomasiom We are on course to complete 5000 by end of July, but you yourself specifically asked at a briefing for us to consider interim reporting earlier before the 5000 were completed. I agreed with you so interim reporting is being done earlier.
@christhomasiom Actually unless I miss remember my own interview I never said matched. I said broadly inline with what would be expected. Unsurprisingly the virus had the most spread in the most highly densely populated areas.
@ManxRepublic @MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet@WHO 2/2 but also we're still early in our curve. So at the momemnt we're generally seeing mild cases but that will change as we move along the progression of the disease.
@ManxRepublic @MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet@WHO That will level off. The reason at the moment is because the first cases had a wait for their results to come back so in some cases they were 5/6 days into their 14 before even confirmed as positive. 1/2
@MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet @ManxRepublic @WHO Also the retesing referred to on pg33 is only for those serious cases who have been hospitalised. Their not in the presumed recovered figure as their not recovered until discharged which can be a lot longer than 14 days.
@MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet @ManxRepublic @WHO 2/2.... no, like almost all jurisdictions we dont retest everyone. Hence we follow pg14. Hence we use the presumed recovered model for mild cases. While most jurisdictions using that model call it "recovered" we use the correct term "presumed recovered".
@MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet @ManxRepublic @WHO Hi Mark, relevant piece is top of page 14. Where as many juridictions are simply classifying as "recovered" we are using the correct definition of "presumed recovered".
@MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet @ManxRepublic @WHO Here you go 2nd of my tweets this morning: Also here is the the full source so you dont have to quote third party partial facts https://t.co/CS8duO20VUโฆ in line with this only mild cases are being reported as recovered after 14 days not serious cases.
@ManxRepublic @10davidstreet@MarkRWheeler2@WHO That quote from February was at that time correct, if your going to quote me do it fully. I said that countries who had cancelled mass gatherings had not seen a lower community transmission rate than those who did. That was correct then and still is now.
@ManxRepublic @MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet@WHO That will slow. The reason being that many of the early case peoples test results have took a while to come back so they were already on day 5/6 before even being confirmed as positive.
@MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet @ManxRepublic @WHO Also here is the the full source so you dont have to quote third party partial facts https://t.co/mnbNjnsNU9 in line with this only mild cases are being reported as recovered after 14 days not serious cases.
@MarkRWheeler2@10davidstreet @ManxRepublic @WHO WHO has also recognised that some people do take longer than 14 days to recover (Boris Johnson is a case in point). Quoting half a fact does does not make it a full fact.
