@TheBoxerECG If only he somehow survived the whole "turning into a poisonous cloud of death and being destroyed by 5 years of plot." He's been my favorite MTG villain since reading The Thran.
@TruedawnFm Elden Ring in particular also has a brilliant solution to the "wall of hard boss" issue in that if Margit is owning you, you can go do Weeping Peninsula to level up first (or even go around Stormveil Castle Entirely). Open world done right
I watched the Netflix One Piece with my wife last week (loved it), and then walked downstairs today to see her watching the anime. We're a yai yo yai yo household now

@zdch I also find that unless I play a bunch of bo3 I don't have the level 2 sideboard plans in the forefront of my brain (eg the common off-axis things midrange sides in, the bigger boomies aggro sides in) and board wrong and don't play around the right stuff until I lose a game to it
@TheBoxerECG I like to pile count before each game to make sure I didn't drop and cards and sideboarded the correct number, but it's the mashes and riffles afterwards that actually randomize.
@TruedawnFm So either Teferi is going to do an Endgame-like windback, or they just killed half the cast and some other asspull will defeat phyrexia during their huge invasion
@TruedawnFm Elesh Norn then shows up with a bunch of phyrexian paneswalkers, apparently unconcerned enough to interfere before now despite the fact that a group of superheroes just decided to not destroy the multiverse for no reason. Kaito grabs Elspeth's sword and the screen fades to black
