"Her (codependent) life was being lived on a psychological level, and not a healthy one: "First other small selves, then my small self." And of course, since others are never satisfied, she never got around to taking care of herself. But when we shift to "First God, then the self," God takes care of us. We realize that we are not small and needy, we are servants of the One Great Force, and we clean house for God, take care of God's stiff neck, cook dinner with gratitude from God's own pantry. And we know that God eventually gives us time to rest, to heal, to play, and to have fun. Like every dollar bill says, "In God We Trust." It is that trust that helps us endure a hard week at the office or the Nazi death camps; a rejection from the parole board or a year in solitary.
The psychological/emotional dimension of life is the child, while the spiritual is the parent. Look around and see what a mess the world has become from the child dominating the parent."

The mind wants to know because knowing gives it a position. It gives it somewhere to stand. It wants to decide what something is, why it is happening and what should be done about it.
But there are times when this very movement of knowing closes down the deeper possibility of seeing.
Not knowing is not ignorance, and it is not confusion. It is an openness in which the mind is no longer rushing ahead of experience.
It is the willingness to remain with what is here without insisting that it conform to an explanation. In this openness there is space for another kind of intelligence to reveal itself, one that does not come from analysis but from a more intimate contact with life as it is.
Question: I heard you say happiness is impersonal, and my question is, how dare you be happy?
Answer: What is behind that is “The world is a mess. How dare you be happy in this…?”
And you would have a point if it were true that happiness is dependent upon the world.
So, if happiness has to be found in the world, good luck with that.
You never do it.
So, how dare you be happy is predicated upon the belief that the place to find happiness is the world, the world, the body, the mind, and because obviously there is no happiness in the world, you cannot be happy because of the world, because of the body, because of the mind. Well, then I agree with you completely.
It’s something I discovered a long time ago. But what is missing from this is that even when we understand that happiness is not brought about by phenomena, nevertheless, happiness exists. Why? Because we have encountered it.
So then, if happiness cannot be found in the world, in the body, and in the mind, and if it exists, it must be found somewhere else. And if we look at our human experience, there is only one possibility left. Once we have eliminated thoughts, bodily sensations, and sense perceptions, being the place of happiness, the only left possibility is consciousness.
Because that’s all there is to our human experience: thoughts, bodily sensations, sense perceptions, and consciousness.
So, I often mention or paraphrase this Conan Doyle saying, he has Sherlock Holmes say, once the probable has been eliminated, the improbable becomes certain.

When you're triggered in a pressure-discomfort situation, just let it be, deal with it, go with it, handle it. That means, don't react under pressure when you're in the grip of emotion, because you will almost certainly end up acting from fear and creating painful consequences.
@KavijiPoet 'Healing without realization can bind us more deeply to the story. Realization without healing can leave the story operating in darkness.'
Such clarity🙏
"The temptation will show you what a frightened part of your personality is doing and it will create painful consequences if you act on it.
Temptation brings up from your consciousness all the negativity that you don't know about, and it pulls it into your awareness so you can look at it and see for yourself and choose for yourself. It's gracious because your purpose in being in the earth school is to learn to choose - to choose love.
If you decide to act on the temptation, you create karma in that moment. One of numerous possible futures becomes your experience, your life. Energy becomes matter. That is the moment. That is the choice. And what is the choice? Do you simply say to yourself, I choose to have sex with him. I choose to steal the money. No, that's not the choice. That's thinking about the choice. The action is the choice.
When you do it, you create karma. You create your experience. Energy becomes matter. The action is the choice.
You can think about your choice as often as you want, but when you act, the thinking is over. It's done.
That's what temptation is. It is the universe's gracious way of allowing you to see what a frightened part of your personality is planning and will do unless you intervene."

Everyone exists to mirror eachother and offer guidance in some way spoken or unspoken. I would challenge that there are no accidents ever when it comes to the concept of frequency. It’s actually impossible because frequency, light, sound are all the basic functions of this Universe. The very basis of the way something works can never not work
Temporary relationships happen for “high frequency people” simply because the learning lesson is over for both parties, it is not a punishment or injustice for either participant. Temporary relationships happen for “low frequency people” too
As a “high frequency person” you are often in a teaching or guidance position, and even so you are always learning, so there’s no mismatch of energy exchange in the connection. Each person is getting exactly what they need and what may make it seem otherwise is having an expectation, and the expectation not coming to fruition. Falling short of expectation has nothing to do with actual failure by the way, it has more to do with feeling entitled to something happening the way YOU think it should….
It is helpful to understand that what we expect is not always the highest outcome for all involved, including ourselves
No one we meet is ever an accident, all interactions whether they last for seconds or decades are valuable 💚
One of the most important life skills you can learn is to forgive others for not being what you thought they would be, and in that process forgiving yourself for having the expectation that anyone was supposed to be “your ideal version” of anything
— Tao Te Ching, Verse 10 —
Can you coax your mind from its wandering and keep to the original oneness?
Can you let your body become supple as a newborn child’s?
Can you cleanse your inner vision until you see nothing but the light?
Can you love people and lead them without imposing your will?
Can you deal with the most vital matters by letting events take their course?
Can you step back from your own mind and thus understand all things?
The state of desire/longing/yearning is the mind wrapped around a perception of not-enough/loss. It is an expression of lack, scarcity, and therefore of untruth, and basically an expression of fear.
As you return to the Awareness that holds everything, you unclench and relax into your natural state of love, faith and abundance. You're a free agent of Source once more, flying high and untethered in the sky of Love. Remembering God is the answer to everything.
The emotionally intelligent do not wound. This is perhaps their most exquisite quality: not the absence of perception, but the mastery of it. They see everything! The fractures, the failures, the places where a person has not yet grown into themselves, etc. & they hold that knowledge the way one holds a flame: carefully, privately, & with full awareness of what it could fracture.
Criticism, when wielded harshly, does not illuminate, it only burns. & the emotionally intelligent have learned, thru their own scorching, that defensiveness is simply pain wearing armor.
There’s a kind of cruelty disguised as honesty. A need to name every flaw under the pretense of helpfulness. But the emotionally intelligent are not fooled.
They know that clarity, offered gently, reaches places that cruelty never could.
Not everything must be spoken & not everything must be mended. There is a profound intelligence in allowing people the dignity of their own unfolding. & in understanding that some truths are better witnessed than announced.
To know what is helpful, to choose kindness, to let people be. Tenderness even.
Again, this is not passivity, but the deepest kind of love.
The 2nd law of thermodynamics states that everything in the universe naturally moves toward disorder, you are not exempt. Entropy (one of my fav topics) & w/o energy intentionally applied, systems decay; including your mind, body, and relationships, they all follow the same law. Fear grows back when left unattended, or old survival patterns return, or distance forms. But thermodynamics also teaches that energy changes systems, which means healing is not magic but maintenance thru repeated awareness, repeated intention, & def repeated return. You’re alive in a universe where disorder is automatic & healing is an act of conscious resistance.
" Love doesn't need any name, category
or definition.
Love is a world itself.
Either you are in it, at the center....
or you are out, yearning.

Went out for a walk in the park the other day and encountered a darling little boy there, so small, so full of the joy of beingness of mere existence, playing with flowers and walking the kerb edge.
I smiled involuntarily at the vibrant, innocent phenomenon of life he was as I passed by a couple of times. Then for no reason in the world, simply as an extension of his play, this lively little mannie started accompanying me on my walk, trotting along beside me, leaping and twirling at intervals, full of the freedom of movement bursting out of his tiny body on that glorious crisp morning. Two full rounds around the park he skipped along beside me in silence, completely in sync, just sharing the companiable frequency of moving together. It was lovely, that resonance “so perfectly personal, because impersonal first”, and I was smiling all the way, enjoying the wordless presence of this darling little comrade beside me. These miracles of synchronicity and pure love are magical gifts of life.
I noticed that pure love is characterised by total freedom. There is just joy in the free miraculous contact, and no vestige of clinging, dependency or attachment which arise from fear (which in turn arises from a sense of separation from life). There is only appreciation and gratitude, with a stark absence of need or want. Pure love is a simple, spontaneous sharing of the overflow of each one’s being resulting in the oneness of unspoken connection for a precious moment in time.
Have been thinking about this quote from Jesus as it relates to esoteric branches of study and knowledge.
Astrology, numerology, kabbalah, magick, and any other form of divination often start as innocent attempts at deeper self understanding or union with God — but can often lead to distortion, manipulation, confusion, and an ultimate straying away from harmony with Source.
Someone tapped into Source wouldn’t reach these things for confirmation. Confirmation is Within. Jesus would not need to know or use astrology, because he was wholly connected to Source.
Ultimately, the “way to life” is simple. To live like Jesus. “I am the Way the truth the life.”
To live from your heart. To love your neighbor. To humble yourself before God’s will. To hang up your cross daily and submit to God.
Even the Tao te Ching says the same:
“The great Way is easy, yet people prefer the sidepaths.”
Ultimately, astrology, tarot, and divination are the side paths.
They can be interesting and helpful tools, and I have used and studied them plenty, but I am seeing how they become irrelevant if you can really become connected to Source.
