You’re joking @CoxHelp . I literally triggered a production deployment at work 30 seconds before my internet decides to end its day. How is my deployment going? No idea.
My @delta flight got canceled from JFK. The customer service line was huge, so I google a Delta JFK phone number. The number was 1888-571-4869 Thinking I reached Delta, I started telling them about getting me on a new flight.
Tell me you’re not stable without telling me you’re not stable. Stuff like this is incredibly unprofessional. I wouldn’t want my ads next to this stuff.
Normalize doing self retros frequently. There are opportunities to learn from everything to see what you can do better. It’s ok to admit something wasn’t perfect or you did something wrong. It’s not ok to not identify and not correct it for next time.
Constant self improvement is key in my life. At work, I constantly do self retros even if a failure wasn’t my responsibility… maybe I could have still prevented it. I also do them personally where I recognize I get stuck in my routines that I may not be doing enough with Luna.
@TheLordSkippy@GRUStormCentral Agreed but… welcome to America? Travel anywhere in this country and you’ll see this sort of thing. I’ve lived through ice storms where ice would weigh down power lines and snap them off poles causing outages. Gets pretty cold real fast inside a home.
@TheLordSkippy@GRUStormCentral Was there even a tree there? How much does it cost to bury lines? At the time of power lines being run, how many people would use the lines in order to pay for burying them vs not?
@TheLordSkippy@GRUStormCentral Other countries do a lot I wish we would. It’s about the cost of it now. This is an issue all around the country. I don’t blame the tree except our water oaks will rot from the inside making it hard to know if a tree will give way.
@TheLordSkippy@GRUStormCentral It’s everyone’s responsibility to look out for possible damage from trees. Property owners… people driving by. It’s not just GRU’s responsibility in perpetuity.
