@PYeerk Then by all means, do this at cons and see how far it gets you. Long-term veterans of cons are wrong, make yourself a headache at every event for best results.
@PYeerk Cosplayers/fandom enjoyers don't want to be asked on dates at conventions by people they don't know. Making friends is encouraged but zeroing in on the favorite ass you saw and asking it out is whack. That's what this whole talk is about.
@PYeerk Go back to the original post about anime cons and approaching women you don't know. Read slowly, and rub those brain cells together vigorously. I believe in you!
@xboxer214@prblmchId I'm getting that the conversation has been moved to something to fuel incel bullshit. You're not, in any sense, talking about what the original poster was talking about, which is asking women for their numbers unprompted at anime cons.
@prblmchId Then you're way outside the original context of the conversation, which is dudes approaching girls just for thinking they're pretty not knowing anything about them, and why asking them on dates is bad
Call your own, then give him my number, Ill give him a son that's not retarded
@BaneThe76451 There is nothing sweeter in this life than individual agency, and relationships where the woman has no financial leverage take away more agency than they grant. Men who find themselves alone will have to do the thing they hate most, which is work on being an enjoyable person.
@ShitlibSupreme Moreover, your follow up is also exactly what I mean by the smug attitude inherent in liberalism. "Our side does a capitalism without fascism!" is bullshit, power gives liberals a sense that things are fine and not fix the rot. The apathy call is coming from inside the house.
@ShitlibSupreme Both parties serve the fundamental interests of capital. If you genuinely don't want capitalism, these would still be necessary. Just because Democrats convince their corporate sponsors to slap a rainbow sticker on their products once a year does not mean they work for us.
@CowardAm@whitefeelimgs Maybe for other deities. The US is ripe for the Christian concept of love, the foundation of which is the fear of perdition. This supposed "love" violently suppresses human nature and attempts to replace it with the perceived will of God.
I'll die on the hill that I will offer 1,2,3, and 4 to people I care about struggling. Sometimes listening is all we CAN do, sure, but otherwise - does your heart not yearn to help them? Do you not feel their pain in your soul? An "I'm sorry that sucks" feels empty and inhuman
@gbrl_dick I generally agree with you HOWEVER, in the context of this film these are high society types, with access to wealth and good food. People who have access to those things today are still usually good looking, with the poor looking more toe-adjacent due to the processed food glut
@CouncilRepublic@dilrhubarb No need for hyperbole, occasional and non-inpactful lateness happens to everyone. Consistent lateness combined with a dismissive attitude like this shows you don't particularly care about others or their feelings.
@one20sevenam People wait for someone else to absorb risk for them. They want the accolades of enforcing justice without taking action to ensure its enforcement. This is also kind of why liberalism is a failed political philosophy. It has no teeth against the people it claims to stand against
