@MaBulle14 this is why the drama needs 20 eps. wouldn't need to be a dragged out dansim pov, just enough to see how she adjusted to the shin seori world and her relationship with grandma + others, and her acting career too
i want to live in this version of pakistan. you cannot be a woman, shia or non-sunni, non-muslim, or non-punjabi (i'm sure there's more categories). the state very much follows you everywhere in everything you do, it's just a question of who you know to get away with it
comparatively, pakistan is a good country to be born a muslim in. you cannot be a muslim in north india. you cannot be a woman in iran. you cannot be a human in afghanistan. at least in pakistan, the state leaves you be & doesnt police or criminalise your choices
If anyone is interested in buying books please let me know. The books are from personal collection of various age groups and genres. Children’s, women, young adult, classics etc

ipad as an extra is great. for readings, making notes on slides, easier to carry around when studying in public. but during class, it's a massive distraction
might delete idk but
it's the "everyone wants to save the world but no one wants to help mom do the dishes" thing to me. they want to be hero of the day saving women in dark streets but never tackle the everyday things/ppl (incl themselves) contributing to rape culture
@cow_invader i saw it in a screenshot of a post (below) long ago and it stuck with me. but recently i found out it might actually be credited to p. j. o'rourke
can't reply so
it's about the idea of it, not actually the action. they're less likely to run into a scenario that requires action from them, so they like to fantasise about it more
I'm gonna be honest with you.
A woman saved a young girl from a sexual assult in Chicago a few weeks ago so I'm not sure if they'll even help if they came upon that.
Big thanks to those who do actually help others in danger.
