@Se_Railway@1066shrimprail@SouthernRailUK@NetworkRailSE It’d be good to know what enhanced compensation will be given to season holders during the disruption … presumably nothing as the case in previous years when the same closure has taken place!!
@Se_Railway That’s really frustrating having to dig everything out of my bag again. Have raised this previously and told it shouldn’t happen, so disappointing the practice has started again!
@Se_Railway Hmm, will probably still need to drive to Tonbridge from Hastings just to be sure I can get to work - 4 times last week I’ve been delayed for hours and this is just too risky!
Can I reclaim anything given the extra travel expense of driving/parking?
@AvantiWestCoast Ok, so I can do that later next week when I get back, as I’ll now drive back down south on Wednesday, won’t be in central london until Thursday/friday
@AvantiWestCoast I have an open return from London to Manchester. I was planning to return on 8/5 but have now discovered there is a strike. I’ll now have to drive to London. I bought my ticket at the station last Friday. Can I get a refund through delay repay?
@Se_Railway I appreciate that, but why tell us to come to Tonbridge when there was clearly direct trains from London to Hastings running which weren’t stopping here?
@Se_Railway told to go to Tonbridge for a Battle connection. Got to Tonbridge and no train for who knows how long but a fast train has now gone through fast! Could it have not stopped at Tonbridge? When is the next train to Battle?

@Se_Railway It’s the same every day - anything that can be done as normal set up to stop this? I now pack an extra layer to wear on the train but still freezing! 😭
