@Schumuckwriter@dtupper I mean the problem with fluxpose (in this context) is that its all relative to another point, so another tracking system is needed to get the "absolute" position. SLAM is probably the best overall in this case, even if base stations are more accurate.
@Heaney555@AntonHand Regressions existed, but unless youre a moron, they dont break basic functionality. And why would I even want to go through the effort of prompting up some tests that I would have to go back and double check anyway? If I can't trust the tests then its a waste of fucking time.
@Heaney555 Maybe if modern developers didn't decide to write everything in a scripting language that was literally designed in 2 weeks, we wouldn't have that issue *or* need vibecoders doing everything in AI.
@Heaney555@AntonHand If you write proper tests, neither of those are an issue. In fact, as long as you aren't a vibecoder and actually know wtf you're doing, you simply won't break basic functionality. No expensive outsourced "thinking" required.
@HannyahZ@CiciDuckx Even in the case where an artist does just make a fan animation with toei characters, since the work itself is still owned by the artist, they can't turn around and use that animation themselves without permission.
@HannyahZ@CiciDuckx The artist still owns the work itself, just not the characters, which is why you can draw a dragon ball animation with original characters and still own the piece.
@DP_LTS@MahouShogun@CiciDuckx Where is this art theft you're talking about? The artist still owns the works even if they don't own the character. Commissioning does not de facto give the commissioner ownership over the work, just that the work gets created.
@Spurrowek@MahouShogun@CiciDuckx No, the artist retains rights to a work *unless stated otherwise*. They would need to have an agreement that *allows* him to use it in this way.
@HannyahZ@CiciDuckx Just because he paid for a commission, doesn't mean he literally owns that piece. Artist still owns the copyright to it unless otherwise stated.
@eternalclassic_@itsukarine Wtf are you talking about, you can literally see the fucking unity UI when they're editing it. The only thing actually "running" in vrc is the blend shape it creates.
