That’s why I think they’re second meet up was more surprise that john was there w/ Mary. Sam was more in awe.

@Annamaymay3 @Wayward_Mitch That’s exactly what latchkey kids did. They had very little parental supervision. I for one had to get my siblings up for school with no parents. See them home from school and take care of them all night long. My parents would stumbling in after we were already in bed.

@Annamaymay3 @Wayward_Mitch That’s probably true. But keep in mind that that’s true of a good portion of generation X. We were known as latchkey kids because we didn’t have parents at home. We also mostly raised our siblings. It was just the way things were then. But it was normal.

It’s like if ur parents caught you smoking. They would be angry. It pertains to the situation. Not a constant state of being.
