Fully in agreement with @Artak_Beglaryan: Those who employ the phrase "ethnic cleansing" concerning the tragedy inflicted upon the Artsakh people must recognize that it lacks a legal definition; it's merely a political maneuver to circumvent the use of "genocide."
Whoever uses the term "ethnic cleansing" on the genocide of the Artsakh people should keep in mind that there is no such legal term; it's only a political way of avoiding use of "genocide."
Relevant conventions define genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes & aggression.
In a sobering and unfortunate reality, yesterday saw the departure of the last remaining official personnel, led by President Shahramanyan, from the Republic of Artsakh to Armenia.
Yesterday, the last official persons, led by President Shahramanyan, left the Republic of Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh for Armenia.
According to my sources, over 15 identified Armenians have remained under Azerbaijani rule. The total number can't exceed 40,including the missing ones.
Media presented @StephDujarric's statement on the number wrongly:
"The team also heard from representatives of communities that between 50 and 1,000 ethnic Armenians remain currently in Karabakh."
However, an investigation is a must on why the @UN mission legitimizes AZ crimes.
Despite numerous pleas for coverage over the course of several months, the New York Times deliberately ignored the story, leading to the unexpected nature of its emergence.
Azerbaijan must immediately release all the Artsakh captives, including Ruben Vardanyan, Davit Babayan, and others who are being prosecuted. They are victims of dictator Aliyev's genocidal policy.

Fighting for rights and freedoms is not a crime, but it is true in democratic states and a value-based world.
Over 70% of the Artsakh people have fled their ancestral land, yet the outflow continues.
You all know the reasons, but it doesn't help our future.
Not only the Aliyev regime, but also Russian,US & EU leaderships should pay high prices for this genocide to alter this course.
I join my fellow Armenians in demanding the safe release of Ruben Vardanyan and all other Armenians detained in Azerbaijan. As tens of thousands of families are fleeing Nagorno-Karabakh for safe refuge to Armenia, detention is becoming an alarming trend.
Ruben Vardanyan stands out as an outspoken advocate for peace not only in our region but in the world. He is a world known philanthropist, businessman and co-founder of the @auroraprize_ humanitarian initiative which advocates for peacebuilding and provides people around the world with education and healthcare. #RubenVardanyan #FreeArmenianHostages
In #Artsakh (#Nagorno_Karabakh): bodies of 100 victims killed by 🇦🇿Mil. are in communities isolated from each other; there r cases when several members from 1 family are killed. 1000 of people cannot find their children & parents; they don’t know whether they are killed or alive.
Amidst this ethnic cleansing campaign—and contrary to the statements of PM Pashinyan and FM Bayramov—the civilians of Artsakh are under grave and immediate threat.
Zartonk Media is recording examples of innocent Artsakh civilians being targeted by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
Thousands of people are still missing in Artsakh, as:
1. The Azerbaijani side keeps blocking all the occupied roads to Martakert, Martuni, Shushi, a part of Askeran regions,
2. No access to those killed/wounded at battle fields,
3. Communication network not working almost at all.
Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians, including women, children, and the elderly, were forcibly displaced from their homes and forced to adapt to a new environment, enduring nights in the open air without access to food or water.
This is not ethnic cleansing, this is integration.
Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians were forcibly displaced from their homes to be adapted to their new environment — nights in the open air, no food, no water.
All in line with Azerbaijan’s Constitution.
Russian peacekeepers have evacuated more than 5,000 people from three districts of Artsakh. The peacekeepers have brought all evacuated people to the Russian peacekeepers base at the Stepanakert airport.
There are still hundreds, if not thousands, missing as there are major connectivity issues in Artsakh.
Some villages are completely surrounded by Azerbaijan's Armed Forces and it is unclear when and how they will be evacuated.
Thousands of missing people in #Artsakh (#Nagorno_Karabakh). Family members cannot find each other. Lack of communication made almost impossible finding them or finding out whether they are killed or not.

‼️ As of 21:30 on September 20, there are at least 200 victims and more than 400 wounded in #Artsakh.
❗️ The number of wounded among the civilian population exceeds 40, of which 13 are children. There are currently 10 confirmed civilian casualties, 5 of which are children. 💔
BREAKING: Over 200 Killed (10 Civilians) & Over 400 Injured (Over 40 Civilians) In Artsakh From Azerbaijan’s Large-Scale Attack On September 19 & 20
Thousands of Artsakh people, along with the Azerbaijani forces approaching Stepanakert & especially after the ceasefire announcement, gathered near the headquarters of the Russian peacekeepers.
They are demanding evacuation by helicopters and expecting better protection.
Aznavour Saghyan, the mayor of Martuni town of Artsakh, fell today in a battle with Azerbaijani genocidal forces, while defending his homeland.
I knew him personally; he was a brave, honest and dedicated Armenian who was always on the frontline of any fightings.
The Azerbaijani genocidal forces continue military activities & positional advancement, targetting also civilian population and objects.
The numbers of deaths & injuries are quickly growing up.
❗️According to the information received from the Stepanakert’s morgue by the Office of the Human Rights Defeder, as of 22:30, there are 27 victims as a result of the continuous full-fledged terroristic attack by Azerbaijan, among whom 2 are civilians. The number of injured exceeds 200 people at this point.
The numbers do not include the medical institutions of Askeran and Martuni, as the communication is still not established.
