🥰 @AccessProtocol을 생각할수록 이 프로젝트의 이름이 정말 잘 지어졌다는 생각이 듭니다.

접근.

단순히 플랫폼에 접속한다는 의미가 아니라, 사람과 사람을 연결하고, 커뮤니티를 연결하고, 아이디어와 기회를 연결하는 의미에 더 가깝다고 생각합니다.

예술과 창작이 가진 가장 아름다운 특징 중 하나는 원래부터 국경이 없었다는 점입니다. 역사적으로도 훌륭한 작품들은 항상 자신이 만들어진 지역을 넘어 더 넓은 세상으로 퍼져 나갔습니다. 한 나라에서 그려진 그림이 지구 반대편에 있는 사람에게 감동을 줄 수 있고, 한 장의 사진이 전혀 다른 문화권의 사람들에게도 같은 감정을 전달할 수 있습니다. 누군가가 자신의 경험을 글로 풀어냈을 때, 언어와 환경이 다른 사람들이 그 이야기에 공감하는 일도 결코 드문 일이 아닙니다.

문제는 창의성과 예술은 국제적이지만, 기회는 항상 그렇지 않았다는 것입니다.

오늘날에도 수많은 재능 있는 크리에이터들이 훌륭한 작품을 만들고 있지만, 그 작품이 지역 사회를 넘어 더 넓은 세상에 알려지는 경우는 생각보다 많지 않습니다. 이는 작품의 질이 부족해서가 아니라, 현재의 인터넷 환경이 점점 알고리즘과 광고 예산 중심으로 움직이고 있기 때문입니다. 많은 플랫폼에서는 좋은 콘텐츠가 발견되는 것이 아니라, 플랫폼이 더 많은 트래픽을 얻을 수 있는 콘텐츠가 우선적으로 노출됩니다.

그래서 저는 @AccessProtocol의 비전이 더욱 흥미롭게 느껴집니다.

Access는 크리에이터들을 단순히 콘텐츠 생산자로 바라보지 않습니다. 오히려 자신만의 커뮤니티를 구축하고, 자신을 진정으로 좋아하는 사람들과 직접 연결될 수 있도록 돕는 생태계를 만들어가고 있습니다. 한국의 아티스트든, 베트남의 작가든, 브라질의 사진작가든, 아프리카의 교육 콘텐츠 제작자든 관계없이 자신의 창작물을 가치 있게 평가해주는 사람들과 연결될 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 것이 Access가 추구하는 방향이라고 생각합니다.

제가 Access Hub를 둘러볼 때마다 흥미로운 이유도 여기에 있습니다. 단순히 콘텐츠를 보는 것이 아니라, 세계 각지의 크리에이터들이 자신의 작품, 경험, 연구, 인사이트를 공유하는 모습을 볼 수 있기 때문입니다. 그리고 그 연결은 국적이나 지역에 의해 제한되지 않습니다. 어떤 사용자는 자신과 전혀 다른 문화권에 있는 창작자를 발견할 수도 있고, 또 다른 사용자는 평소라면 절대 접할 기회가 없었던 새로운 관점을 만나게 될 수도 있습니다.

최근 Access는 인공지능, 정보 금융, 데이터 인프라, 다양한 파트너십과 글로벌 커뮤니티 확장을 통해 생태계를 더욱 넓혀가고 있습니다. 하지만 저는 그 모든 확장의 중심에 여전히 같은 철학이 있다고 생각합니다. 단순히 콘텐츠를 수익화하는 것을 넘어, 좋은 창작물이 더 많은 사람들에게 도달하고, 의미 있는 커뮤니티가 형성되며, 크리에이터들이 자신의 가치에 맞는 보상을 받을 수 있는 환경을 만드는 것입니다.

어쩌면 이것이야말로 크리에이터 경제가 원래 지향했던 모습일지도 모릅니다. 국경에 제한받지 않고, 언어에 갇히지 않으며, 좋은 작품과 아이디어가 필요한 사람들에게 자연스럽게 도달할 수 있는 글로벌 네트워크 말입니다.

그래서 저는 Access라는 이름이 단순한 브랜드명이 아니라고 생각합니다.

그것은 창의성과 예술이 더 많은 사람들에게 발견될 수 있도록 하고, 크리에이터들이 더 넓은 세상과 연결될 수 있도록 하며, 누구나 자신의 가치를 보여줄 기회를 가질 수 있다는 철학 그 자체를 담고 있는 이름이라고 생각합니다. 💙
