Had a good first day at firestix college exposure tournament today! Fell short in both games but my team played great, in the first game I turned a double play while at short and hit a home run!Excited for the competition coming up in the next days!

Had a great tournament this weekend in canton! Day one I clutched in homeruns #3 and #4! Day two we came out ready to play and won game one against anchor bay! Fell short in final four game but still very proud of how the team battled and played!

We have a very cool opportunity this afternoon to play at The Corner Ballpark (the old Tigers Stadium location)!

The Corner Ballpark is home to the Detroit Police Athletic League PAL, which helps youth academically, athletically and with leadership development - they have a youth softball league that will be starting up in the next few weeks, a great organization for the city!

Great 12-1 win yesterday against Clarkston, both our offense and defense were locked in!

Freshman @LexiZ46731 hit her first high school home run which included three RBI! @EmilySearle21 and @zoie_gagnon also had shots over the fence! Searle hit in four and Gagnon hit in two and scored two. @AGoldman2027 hit a double, drew two walks, had three RBI and scored two. @ab_schlot2029 went 2-4 scoring two runs. @aubreysoftball9 and @LilyEller2 each collected a hit.

@MelinaWing2027 threw five innings to complete the game and earned the win in the circle. Wing only allowed one earned run, struck out six and didn’t give up a walk.

Tomorrow the Eagles head down Bogie Lake Rd. for two league games against Walled Lake Northern. Go Eagles!! 🦅🥎💙

Picked up two great team wins yesterday at Davison! Our defense really stepped it up to make some key plays throughout both games.

In game one (13-0), @zoie_gagnon , @EmilySearle21 and @LilyEller2 each hit a home run! Searle knocked in 6 RBI’s and went 3-4 at the plate also drawing a walk. @AGoldman2027 was 4-5 knocking in a run and scoring three herself. Gagnon went 3-5 knocking in three and scoring two herself. @ab_schlot2029 collected two hits and scored three herself, @aubreysoftball9 also had two hits. Emma Hewitt, @LexiZ46731 and @HuffPiper2027 each collected a hit.

@MelinaWing2027 was lights out on the mound throwing a shutout! Wing struck out four and, with the lockdown defense behind her, only allowed four hits!

The outfielder’s were outstanding tracking the ball yesterday earning that “no fly zone” title, catching all 11 fly balls hit mostly to Schlotterer in left field and Eller in center field with one making its way to Hewitt in right field.

Meredith Peterson earned the win in the circle for game two only allowing one run to end with a 4-1 win! Searle went 3-4 with 2 RBI, Zamenski went 2-3, Schlotterer went 2-4 with two stolen bases and scored three of the four runs scored in the game. Goldman and VanGoethem each collected a hit.

The Eagles are back in action Tuesday at home against the other Huron Valley High School. Go Eagles! 🦅🥎💙
