VMG’s daily revenue so far:
- Day 1: $1,253,798

There is no myth in the entire history of LADS that declined so drastically after the first day, and no, it's not because "everyone already got the pair and have no reason to spend anymore".

Once Upon a Frame was already tapering off (a natural banner progression), and when Valko was announced, there was a spike in spending until his cancellation when a sharp drop occured that continues until now.

While CDGs did protest with a hit in DAU, this did not drop off as drastically as AFTER his cancellation - you'd think the antis would return after getting what they want, no? Thanks to @rafayelswarmer for the DAU data. 🥹

I wanted to look a little deeper into @Love_Deepspace IG following pre/post Valko cancellation, and thought I’d share my findings.

You can see a notable increase in followers on 6/22 (Valko’s PV drop) that continues to trend upward every day following. The highest amount of followers reaching 1,020,615 just a day before the cancellation. Post cancellation on 6/30, the count continues to trend down until a small boost on 7/11, which most of us anecdotally noticed an increase in bot followers this day. Since this temporary increase it has been on a nose dive every day.

There’s not much to be done with this, just another interesting data point to look at. It is *very* apparent that Valko brought renewed global interest to the game via the increased engagement. What’s more notable, however, is the drastic decrease in the day(s) after the cancellation.

I wonder just how low this number will go until it plateaus.
