So it seems Valko returning depends A LOT on whether his removal affects revenue or not.

If there was ever a time to guard your wallets, please, it is now. For Rafy’s 4th Myth, if Raf Mains can delay their spending by at least a week please do so 🥹 as long as the revenue graph doesn’t spike, we have a really good chance of allowing the creative team to argue for Valko’s return!

We have also heard your concerns about whether future content can continue to be delivered consistently without compromising on quality.

Please be assured that the Love and Deepspace development team has continued to grow since the game's launch. The Main Story chapters you have been waiting for are currently in active development. The stories of Farspace Colonel Caleb and Onychinus Leader Sylus will continue, and the new series of Solar-Slot Memories will also be arriving soon. The development team will continue to deliver richer game experiences and high-quality content on a consistent basis.

We also understand that these concerns are not simply about the pace of updates. They come from how deeply you care about Love and Deepspace and the love interests who have been by your side throughout this journey. It is because you cherish every moment you have shared with them that you hope this companionship will continue for many years to come.

If you truly want this boycott to be successful- Stop logging in and stop spending money. The ONLY thing this company will listen to is data and numbers. At the end of the day you have to understand that the business side and creative side exist in two different silos. What the production team wants is irrelevant if the executives dont think it has sufficient ROI. Stop spending money, and if you can stop logging in. Daily Active Users IS a metric they do and will leverage for a pulse check on how players actually feel.

alrighty cuz this is starting to bother me and idec anymore-

1) its not guaranteed raf's myth is dropping this month. they said revealed, not released.

2) stop policing people. pull or not- literally we're all adults here (or should be). if you can either r0, only r1, or pull primarily with resources and minimal spending thatd be super helpful! or if you can spread out your pulls/wait until last day so the income doesnt hit infold at once, thats awesome too. if you dont wanna pull at all, thats great as well!

3) boycotts do work. to say they dont, are pointless, dont have results is literally incorrect. if your american- starbucks and target are recent examples. if your not american, please look up starbucks and target following their boycotts that began in 2024 and 2025. tldr- they work. how? people who could stopped cold turkey, people who couldnt minimized their spending, or only went when no other option.

4) this boycott is for all issues, not just valko. valko is just the final straw because how can a company throw away 2-3 years of development because of antis while also NOT listening to (especially in this case even though domestic also made lots of noise) global's massive calls of wanting him back. if call outs at this scale arent shaking them, how can we expect them to care about other issues (global and domestic) we've been asking for? (lighting for darker skinned mcs, sustainable farming for f2p, inclusive hair options, regular ms updates, etc, etc) will i be happy when valko is reinstated? yes. will i still be fighting for and pushing for them to fix other issues if they arent addressed? yes and so should every valko main/supporter.

thats all. im done. will go back to making noise for my wolf boy and will start replying with this on any more of these bothersome posts i keep seeing because bffr guys.

SIT DOWN AND LET ME EXPLAIN SOMETHING TO Y'ALL ABOUT ADHD AND AUTISM AND HYPERFIXATIONS!
The ADHD, Autistic, and AuDHD communities all have it in common that we HYPERFIXATE on what interests us.
Autists tend to hyperfixate in a way that's rather structured, rather deep, and creates what is commonly called "special interests" that they will rarely truly let go of in life, because these interests create comfort and regulation in their lives.
ADHDers are constantly chasing dopamine, because physically their brains and bodies are unable to sufficiently produce it themselves. For as long as an interest GIVES an ADHDer dopamine, that ADHDer will occupy themselves with it until they drain every last drop of dopamine they can get from it. And then start panicking and looking around for the next source of dopamine to keep themselves alive.
For AuDHDers? We have elements of both. Like other ADHDers, we also need external sources of dopamine to live fulfilling lives - sometimes to even continue *desiring* to live at all - that's just how our neurons are wired. But like our fellow autists, we also require deep, meaningful dives into the secrets of everything about a thing that interests us, and can spend YEARS of our lives studying and becoming the foremost keepers of lore about it.
How does the depth vs dopamine push-pull look for an AuDHD brain? Plenty of times this can look like we cycle back periodically to old interests we once hyperfixated on a few (or more) years ago and are now coming back to with new experiences, new perspectives to see it with, and a new need for fresh dopamine from an old and beloved "friend." That's just one of the ways it manifests. Other times we have steady longstanding interests that give us regulation and comfort, with intense "side quest" interests that spontaneously pop up and give us dopamine. That's another way. Both ways (and more) can manifest throughout life in the same person.
What does this mean for advocacy, boycotting, and AuDHD? ... 😈
It means that the special interest I have in the game isn't going anywhere, since I've already been playing since early April of last year, and while the removal of my digital werewolf love interest is a stressor, I'M STILL GETTING MY DOPAMINE FROM IT. I get it from the HOPE and CAMARADERIE I feel in the #BringValkoBack #ValkoIsLoved community. I get it from seeing Valko's gorgeous face and hearing his sexy voice from his saved pvs. I get it from seeing the Valko art, edits, memes, and charity causes done in his name. IT. FEEDS. ME. Bitterly, but food is food.
So, tl;dr? BUCKLE UP, BUTTERCUP! I CAN KEEP GOING 'TIL CHRISTMAS AND BEYOND IF I HAVE TO! AWOOOOOO!
