To everyone worried that Infold will suddenly go bankrupt because of a few weeks of lower revenue:
As a former software developer, that's generally not how companies of this size operate.

Large studios don't run on a "one bad month = game over" model. They budget over quarters and fiscal years, have cash reserves, ongoing projects, and evaluate performance across many KPIs...not just daily revenue.

If revenue stays weak for a prolonged period, management eventually has to explain the trend and adjust strategy. That's where sustained player trust, retention, reputation, ratings, and long-term spending become important.

So don't feel pressured into spending because you're afraid the company will disappear overnight. A short-term boycott isn't what determines whether a company survives. The long-term trajectory is what matters.

As long as you still login, as long as you still hand over your money, they will do whatever they like. They will never change no matter how much you complain, as long as they can still profit off of you. You are not a person to them, you are numbers.

I stand by everything I’ve said, even my plea about waiting until the end of the myth’s run if you must. But think about who you’re giving your money to when you do. Think about how they’ve treated their creative team and players these past 2 weeks.

It’s your choice, but please consider how it will affect future decisions made by the management.

Anyone making Generative AI content of any LI (which was already an issue in this fanbase BEFORE Valko too from art, chatbots AND audio) but also making content of Valko BASED ON Other LI is absolutely reprehensible and vile. Call that shit out, one of the main pillars of this entire movement is to see the actual artistic vision the LADS developers had for each of their characters. You completely DISRESPECT that by putting their work into generative AI which is also against Terms of Service.

Please condemn and report people using Generative ai, REGARDLESS of their main directly. You can also link and report to Infold stating it is against Part 7.4 section 12. Generative AI will always be so extremely harmful to the world and creativity, and only cultivate more issues and discontent with how disrespectful it is. Be fucking original and pick up a pencil!

Please remember this doesn’t MEAN ANYTHING and most of us are pretty sure that we’re going to be tested with the Raf Myth regardless.

But knowledge is power. And while we definitely need to come to terms with the fact that this will take time, I think it’s worth knowing that if we all commit to the boycott, it won’t be forever. As long as we don’t spend money, we have a chance of being heard.

I think it’s also worth pointing out that 1 global player that is a spender in the game is typically worth 3 CN players (from what I’ve been told). We have many people on both Global and CN servers boycotting. We can do this if we stand by each other through this.

I made a video version of my Valko Marketing explainer with Chinese subtitles to make it easier to digest!

I hope this can help again recement that the marketing campaign is not something malicious, but a subversion of expectations based on fairytale perceptions of Wolves. Papergames / Infold should have done more market research and due diligence to ensure their audiences were aware of the fairytale themes they are building off of. I hope they can be more mindful in future to ensure everyone is on the same page, then hopefully Valko is seen as a character purely from the intention of the developer's vision as a romantic lead.

I got curious about the Infinity Nikki Girlcott timeline. Good news, it's not 4 months like I've seen here, more like 4 weeks!

Here's the timeline:
- End of April: 1.5 launch
- End of April to Mid-May: Girl/cott phase
- May 16-18: Infold issues public statement & apology (three weeks later)
- Up to June - Extended in-game purchase strike until 1.6 update/fix

Girlcott code:
- Review bombing on all platforms
- Social media - Reddit, Twitter, Rednote, Discord
- Forced refunds and no purchases caused a 50% revenue drop

We're already well on the way with our efforts! GOA rerun is already less than half of KOD and LSG reruns.

We can do this! 2 weeks down, and we've put more pressure on them than the rest!
