Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله said:
When Intellect Reaches Perfection, The Pleasure of The Worldly Life Is Lost.
Consequently, the physical body diminishes, illness grows stronger, and grief intensifies.
This is because whenever the intellect contemplates the ultimate outcomes, it turns away from the world and fixes its attention upon that which it has perceived.
Thus, it finds no pleasure in anything of this immediate, fleeting life.
Rather, pleasure is enjoyed only by those who are heedless of the Hereafter, whereas a person of perfected intellect possesses no heedlessness.
For this reason, such a person is incapable of mixing with people, as they appear to be of an entirely different species than his own,
just as the poet said:
There is no brother of passion in these dwellings with whom we may share the discourse of Najd,
Nor a true friend with whom we may run in stride.

Ibrāhīm ibn Adham (رحمه الله) said:
“Whoever desires peace and ease, let him remove the creation from his heart, and he will find rest.”
Siyar al-Salaf al-Ṣāliḥīn (477)
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“There is nothing more harmful to a believer than for the blessings and favors of Allah to become so ordinary to them that they no longer appreciate them.”

Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah Rahimahullah;
"If Allah did not want to accept your dua, He would not have guided you to make it in the first place."

'Two parents disputed over a young boy before one of the judges, and the judge gave the boy a choice between them. The boy chose his father. His mother then said to him:

A man once said to Imam 'Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak رحمه الله:

Fātimah bint Muḥammad bin ʿAbd al-Wahhāb was the daughter of Imām al-Mujaddid Muḥammad bin ʿAbd al-Wahhāb. Upon the Ottoman conquest and destruction of the Emirate of Dirʿiyyah where they massacred its people and enslaved its women and children under the guise of them being disbelievers, she narrowly escaped to Oman. It is said:
“In Oman, Fātimah worked on spreading the Salafī creed among the Omanis throughout the period of her residence there. When conditions stabilised in Najd with the establishment of the Second Saudi State under the leadership of Imām Turkī bin ʿAbd Allāh (1240–1249 AH/1824–1834 CE), she returned to Riyadh with her nephew.
Her commitment to scholarship left little room for a private life; thus, she did not marry, despite being described as beautiful. Among the qualities attributed to her was that she was chaste and courageous.”
"A man may love some people but he cannot catch up with their good deeds?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Everyone will be with those whom he loves."

Ibn al-Qayyim (qu’Allah lui fasse miséricorde) a dit :
« Celui qui a suivi le droit chemin puis s’en est détourné vivra dans une souffrance permanente : il n’aura ni le repos de ceux qui vivent dans l’insouciance, ni la délectation spirituelle de ceux qui connaissent leur Seigneur. »
İbn Mes'ud (RADIYALLAHU ANH) şöyle demiştir:
"İçinizden birinin bir günah işlediğini (günaha bulaştığını) gördüğünüzde, ona beddua etmeyin ve onu ayıplayıp sövmeyin; aksine ALLAH'A, ona afiyet vermesi (onu bu günahtan kurtarması) için dua edin."
İbn Ebî’d-Dünyâ, et-Tevbe
İmâm İbn Kayyim (rahimehullah) şöyle dedi:
"Allah'ı gerçekten tanıyan kimsenin alametlerinden biri, kaybettiği şeylere üzülmemesi ve elde ettikleriyle aşırı sevinmemesidir. Çünkü o, bütün bunların geçici ve fânî olduğunu bilir."
