@bonstad @susanmallon @amayu_amame I’m sure that’s true, but I spend a lot of time driving to the Island. I’ve seen more convoy trucks with BC plates in interior BC and on the island than in Calgary. I won’t speak for rural AB though, pretty sure that is the woodwork they are crawling out of

@susanmallon @amayu_amame I am wondering the same. The current political climate in Alberta is frightening, I’ll admit. And there are too many emboldened people bent on believing and spreading lies. Unfortunately, I see these people in BC as well, and it seems Ontario is headed there as well.

@KevinCTV There is something to be said in Calgary about a 20 min commute to downtown (from the ‘burbs), 45 mins to the mountains, tons of cycle paths, sun all year & a clean city w’ tons of natural parks. Our property would easily be 3-4x the cost in Toronto or Van. This is why we stay

@KevinCTV Albertan here - completely disgusted by our current provincial gov, and the ignorant fools giving AB a bad rap. I will say that in Calgary (Edmonton too) you will find a majority of progressive, welcoming & friendly ppl. And the quality of life next to the Rockies is amazing
