@Tod3030 @RepShontelBrown And they then reduce the amount the surviving spouse is allowed to get IF they retired early! I retired at 62 to take care of my husband that had Alzheimer’s dementia. I was penalized and cannot get his full retirement because of it! Take one income away and reduce the other.
