So here is the first test for those of us who said NEVER to support NEPOTISM again after #SSR death. Let's see how many of us stick to our words.
#SSRDidntCommitSuicide
So some critics are out on #DilBechaara n a lot of people are putting up requests to not evaluate the movie critically. While the intention of these requests is certainly noble but by doing so we are belittling #SSR stardom. Even without the sympathetic angle, the movie seems 1/n

@seematrivedy@iAsura_ national level politics. For eg. thr r talks of BJP allying with none other than NCP in Maharashtra. This itself is a classic example of d point being made here.
@seematrivedy@iAsura_ Strong mandate is only in Lok sabha. They still need to cobble up support in Rajya Sabha for every critical bill, n tht does play a role in how they perceive n pursue d opposition parties.
Similarly, alliance has been required in a lot of states, n tht also plays a role at d 1/2
@seematrivedy@iAsura_ Yes, bt more d number of parties more diluted is any effort to truly eradicate corruption. Half d time d govts hv to worry abt their chair before actin against a small time rep of evn a minor coalition partner.
A lot of such ppl wud not b able to call d shots in a bi-party system
@iAsura_ Hmm true. Regional parties are a menace. Gives rise to regionalism of course and if strong enough then brings in the need for "coalition dharma".
Bi-party system would be ideal but to force people to get there, guess we need a rejig in rules on tenure of weak coalition govts.
@iAsura_ ..they hv bn hostile to us since d 1950s. D only reason i feel is dey see us as a threat / hurdle in their quest to stamp their authority on Asia. Or dey simply see us as an opportunity to deter other countries from partnering with the West (somewhat related to what u said).
@iAsura_ Hmm that's true. We shud hv been self sufficient in defence equipments by now. But evn if we rely on West for that, it's not like we hv ever been hostile to China. I'm not sure the fault is really ours in this case. Our distrust to them can b explained by 1962 n other events, but
@KiranKS@KartikeyaTanna Ya it seemed he will say something about regions who do not show up well until 20th April, like sending down the Army or other special forces, but he stopped short of it. Still hoping he does that wherever needed after 20th.
