@StevenJonMiller As a 60-something but not yet a pensioner, I don’t see the triple lock as a line in the sand. Happy to go to a double lock: inflation or average wage. Assuming the state pension is currently an acceptable level, the ‘double lock’ will maintain its value

@DookistAgain This is the sort of thing Burnham should be targeting, not the cancellation of subscriptions. AA/RAC and Broadband always do this introductory offer, which is really the actual cost, then ‘fine’ you for loyalty/failure to switch.
@MoneyHacks16 Having been a buyer since age 21 I strongly believe in ownership but, certainly in my younger days when cash was short, I envied renters whose tap needed fixing and they just phoned their landlord.
