@VivekGRamaswamy@VivekGRamaswamy as a teacher of 25 years I’m more than happy to go to merit based pay as long as the parents of each student I teach also have their pay based on their child’s performance. We are all in this together. Students spend more time outside of school than in school.
Finally after 24 years of teaching I have realized why I didn’t like a super organized classroom. It was to promote thinking and risk taking. Thank you #buildingthinkingclassrooms
Just watched this and it could be very powerful. It’s awesome to think about being able to meet every student where they are. At the same time how to we lean into human relationships. https://t.co/qdSJn4tHyA
What a great opportunity to visit the Minnesota House floor and see where impactful decisions are made. Future leaders right here. @LincolnK8School @lincolnk8sonju

@SamRoyer907 Totally agree, teaching in person and synchronously to students at home is a challenge. That was most of my first quarter. Currently am teaching all DL. Much easier for me, I think it’s very hard on my students. I look forward to being back in person someday- hopefully soon.
@jenhegna I agree a lot of questions. We have had a few student teachers from Western Governor’s University #WGU and it is definitely an interesting model. Pay a fee for 6 mo. & do as many classes as you can.
I’m so bummed this young man didn’t get to compete with his HS this year. I was looking forward to watching him play again and glad I didn’t have to game plan to defend him. Best wishes going forward. https://t.co/PqZNOF9TMi
Check out this student’s interactive greeting card. Thanks @TeachCode@codeorg for the platform and curriculum that allows students to learn CS and to create their own projects. #lincolnk8sonju#RPS535
