@lukefoslien@MNHockeyStar My son, 14 at the time, was reffing a 2014 game this June. A friend of a parent, entered the ref room and closed the door at the end of the game and started yelling at both officials (both minors) and then shoved my son to the ground. This kind of stuff is ridiculous.
Almost 50 out- time to grab a stick, a teammate and find a place to take a jog and play catch. The season will be here before you know it- what are you doing to be ready to start the season fast?
Coaches: Use the game to teach your players discipline, trust, respect & the value of hard work. Show them you care about more than their performance. They’ll remember it for a lifetime & do the same for their kids later. Lessons for a lifetime. THAT is the true gift of coaching.
I’m so bummed this young man didn’t get to compete with his HS this year. I was looking forward to watching him play again and glad I didn’t have to game plan to defend him. Best wishes going forward. https://t.co/PqZNOF9TMi
@steve_tessmann@hometownsource Congrats Coach! You are a big reason for the growth of lacrosse in Minnesota. I enjoyed playing against the teams you coached back when Mankato-UMD was actually a close game. @RLGraff
This is certainly true today. Gyms aren’t open teams can’t train together. What are you doing now to prepare for your next games, season, race? It helps mental health also to have something to look forward to and to be active.
I’m looking for mid level stick recommendations for my daughter who’s playing girls lax for the first time. Want something that will scoop well and allow her some give as she learns to catch, throw and cradle without one of my sticks.. Any suggestions? @RLGraff@MNtjRoche
