UK Govt has confirmed it will continue Listed Places of Worship Grant Scheme will be renewed this year, operating on the same terms as previously. This allows listed places of worship to claim a sum equal to VAT which has been paid on repairs and alterations.
Our upcoming online talk, 'A Snapshot of Lincolnshire's Churches' is now FULLY BOOKED. We are operating a waiting list and, technology willing, will be sharing the talks on the Diocese of Lincoln website after both have taken place. Thank you to everyone who has spread the word!

And, finally, here's something we didn't know until we started writing this thread: barn owls have previously had the nickname 'church owls'. It's not hard to see a number of reasons why. Thanks for that great fact, @LincsWildlife!

Last weekend saw the return of the #SuperBowl but we're going to share some #SuperbOwls with you instead!
Here's some owls in situ at Boston St Botolph, Aslackby St James, Hough on the Hill All Saints & Welbourn St Chad. Do you know of any others? 🦉🦉🦉🦉

We can't tweet about owls, churches & Lincolnshire without mentioning Sutterby St John the Baptist. The church dates from the 15th century & has been in the care of the @FriendsChurches since 1981. The @SpiritoSutterby project's logo is an owl. Here's why!

Looking after some of the ancient and important churches of England and Wales is a huge privilege.
But at Sutterby, Lincolnshire, we are doubly privileged as the church is a favourite nesting place of barn owls.
