@davidsupercat My previous cat Thomas brought a rat back once dead. It freaked me out and I had to get my male neighbour to take it away. Their tails really freak me out. Ugh! Glad it was released unharmed . I wouldn’t call it fun and hllarity. More like terror and anguish! lol!

@PeterLewis55 @StormHour @MoonHourSocial It really is luck. Those of us who went to Hopkinsville Kentucky had a clear view of totality but many of those who stayed in Nashville were clouded out. At least I’ve seen one properly and I’m thankful for that. I have cousins on NZ …..,

@PeterLewis55 @StormHour @MoonHourSocial All I saw in Cornwall was a flower bed that looked like a partial eclipse! Saw nothing . Iceland was fantastic though and I enjoyed the waterfalls and geysers. Got a little monster made in Iceland

@PeterLewis55 @StormHour @MoonHourSocial I quite like white coronas. Strangest eclipse for me was Faroes 2015 where I saw only a vague ring but my iPad picked up the eclipse. I only have myself to blame. Cornwall, Faroes Iceland! I did see total in Kentucky 2017 and Easter Island annular 2024 but only 2 out of 5

I’ve been on four total eclipse trips and only seen 1 1/2. Kentucky 2017 was totally clear. Faroes 2015 I saw a vague disc but my iPad picked up the totality filtered through cloud. I am grateful to have seen one total & one annular.

@CathAdams1973 @Linda8772490572 I did learn to play the ukulele on the ship and I even sang ‘Goldfinger’ for the karaoke! Iceland was magnificent but nothing makes up for not seeing the eclipse really.
