Shoutout to @LindsMPayne for the dolphin, seaweed, fish game in honor of beach day! The dolphin had to find the clan of fish swimming around, but still had to watch out for the seaweed. We loved our connect game today 🐬🐟🪸

Ended our Friday with an Egg Hunt to practice identifying coins and counting coins! Such a fun way to observe students understanding of our coins unit so far!

Had an awesome opportunity to attend #vcssc2023 Friday and Saturday. I loved the variety of sessions. My highlight was definitely getting to hear Kwame Alexander speak. It was so special to meet one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to share my takeaways with my colleagues!

We had our school’s Winter Holiday Showcase today! Each grade level had a different winter holiday and created houses to represent each one! The students had a blast creating and researching the holidays as well as touring the other house! ❣️@CMJohnson_Elem

The content we assign to grade levels isn’t inherent to age. We did that. We can undo it.

Flat Ms. Payne and my students have been going on so many adventures! I can’t meet with them in person, but I can still get to know them and the things they enjoy doing! We’ve been going on walks, helping with chores, and so much more!
