I couldn’t begin to imagine that I would hold a bald eagle that was nursed back to health and set her free. It wasn’t on any bucket list of mine but having had the chance to do it, I have an incredible new found respect and admiration for the animal and the people who love it enough to fight for her.

Thanks to the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey in Florida for dedicating themselves to such a selfless mission. It was incredibly satisfying to be a part of the release but even more so to learn about your mission and its impact on Florida. You all are incredible.
