@kalaelizabeth Taking this to @PrimeVideo too might be an interesting angle too, they've paid a lot for the licence assuming it will gain attention over time but now, because of EA, it potentially attached to a dead IP.

@kalaelizabeth So you're telling me there are more mood trailers to be leaked?

[Andrew Bone @Link2Twenty]

@GambleMike I'm so sorry it ended like this Mike

[Andrew Bone @Link2Twenty]

@kalaelizabeth I just hope they put their IP on the market and let someone else take over. Doubt it'll happen though

Just merged the first external PR on strapi-identity. I built it to handle MFA in @strapijs. It’s always rewarding when a tool you write fixes your own problem and helps others too.

If you’re using Strapi, take a look: https://t.co/27i5Q4UWaU

@LifeisaGameMag @kalaelizabeth @MorrisAlmighty2 There are no aliens in the expanse

Did you know singletons can be used alongside Micro-Frontends (MFEs) in order to allow information and state to be passed around even if you're using different frameworks?

Singletons often get a bad rap in React. This article explores practical use cases where they shine, showing how to manage state efficiently without breaking component lifecycles.

React singletons get a bad rap, but most of that "messiness" was just a lack of a clean connection to the render cycle.

But it turns out that when you use the platform instead of fighting it, the singleton isn't the villain of the story.

The native EventTarget is a hidden gem, but its TypeScript support is a bit of a "black box". I’ve put together a small wrapper to get a 100% type-safe event bus with zero runtime overhead.

There are a few things conventional wisdom has taught us to do when making an Express microservice but let's break the rules and see where we end up.

@kalaelizabeth The expanse was pretty good too, you can do good space shows. I'm worried about how they'll do live action aliens, unless they keep it human centric with only occasional alien appearances.

@GambleMike I think a free to play multiplayer game in the style of ME3 multiplayer would be a great way to test your new engine without all the other systems slowing you down and probably a good money spinner for EA.

Not to mention the all the good will it'd earn.

@jh3yy I see that subtle SVG animation and appreciate it 👀

@kalaelizabeth Don't forget Alan Wake American nightmare too! It's only short but it's fun

@kalaelizabeth We had a good run

@kalaelizabeth Would it be worth doing a "meanwhile" lore series? For people who are gonna play the game with no idea what's happening elsewhere in the system.
