I have compassion for others similarly wading through trying to do right by their child

@Blind_Nycteris @rainforestgardn I was taken aback when I first found the ND community online & repeatedly read that parenting is the same regardless of need. Fact is it’s hard all around, but the social model of disability means that parents of disabled children suffer/struggle more than average

Just left the 1st CBP facility.

I see why CBP officers were being so physically &sexually threatening towards me.

Officers were keeping women in cells w/ no water & had told them to drink out of the toilets.

This was them on their GOOD behavior in front of members of Congress.

And to these CBP officers saying they felt “threatened” by me -

They were literally discussing making a GoFundMe for an officer who attacked my on my tour.

They confiscated my phone, and they were all armed. I’m 5’4”.

They’re just upset I exposed their inhumane behavior.

@Amromostafa81 OT can be a big help with identifying sensory needs if you’re struggling to pinpoint on your own. Thinking Persons Guide to Autism is a blog with years of helpful info from the community. You can use tech to aid communication without doing ABA as well
