Been busy working on painting up a @ScotRail class 334 model for a forthcoming layout to come from the Edinburgh & Lothians Miniature Railway Club. Built from a CMAC Models kit, with transfers from Railtec Transfers.

Not got round to showing off my completed J88 model. For my first attempt at scratch building a loco I would say it's pretty okay. I'm now making another one with this one going to a friend as a gift

@TrainTimesEB @Gaugemaster I've been repainting a Minitrains narrow gauge "Fiddletown & Copperopolis" 0-4-0. Still needs glazing, a crew, and wood in the tender, but I think it's starting to look smart!

@KillianKeane4 I mean it - I'd be delighted with that on my layout as it stands! I managed to reduce corner stepping by filleting the inside corners on my LSWR gunpowder van (although I ended up with a longitudinal bow instead!) - might be worth trying on the inside edges of the roof?

@TrainTimesEB You wanted to see progress on both my weekend projects, so I made progress on both! My latest US loco is now looking much better (still needs a name) and fits in with my others, and I got track laying started on the main layout!! Trains will run again soon!

For #wagonweds I've been working on another North British Ballast Wagon. The painted wagon you see next to my two ballast wagons is an iron ore wagon that is owned by @LinnysTrains

More work on the (now shrunk to HOn30!) 4-4-0 "Eureka" - a redrawn pilot, and the start of a motorisation mechanism... Definitely getting there!

@OverRun1882 I'm sure it could be tweaked to bring the frames out a little, but it ought to be possible to just put some washers between the frames and wheels. Not sure how you'd make up the running gear though - I'm using UK N gauge driving wheel tyres and axles, with 3D printed centres...

@GreenGiraffe22 @RapidoTrainsUK Gunpowder would have at least one "barrier" wagon between loco and gunpowder, and one between gunpowder and brake van. So you need to put something behind the gunpowder van too, to protect the guard if anything goes boom!

Two of our new Wisbech and Upwell tramcar prototypes took a trip out of the office to the wonderful Outwell Village layout at the Tonbridge show yesterday. What an appropriate setting!
We are looking forward to getting them into production.

Those clever CAD people have been applying liveries to the upcoming LBSC E1 to give a better idea of how it will look.

@GreenGiraffe22 I mean, there were definitely fixed carriage sets, assigned to particular services... but not all services had sets!
