@teelokay Na the games will cost the same and your pc parts or game console costs 5x times as much as they did before. Traditional game making now also costs more because of the increased hardware costs and maintenance. And all the other rising costs thanks to GenAi.

@JNavok @TheBuzzSaw Why do you hate them? GenAI is not pro devs or pro consumer. The way these algorithm came to be are very much anti dev and creatives. They're anti consumer because the tech is making everything more expensive. (this also affects devs who need hardware to make stuff)

The people the plagiarism algorithm stole from and everybody else. Now have to pay more in game dev because everything is more expensive in the hardware sector. Gamers won't be able to afford the tech that is used to play games.

So no the statement that Training is fair use is false. Otherwise GenAi companies wouldn't lobby so hard for laws to be changed.

That the biggest IP and copyright theft in the history of this planet which powers mostly scams, makes people lose their job, makes everything in tech unaffordable for most and destroys the gaming community and the internet is not a bad thing.
