I'm pleading the board to please work with @PeelPolice & @regionofpeel to work on road safety. Our roads are not safe for little kids to walk to school with drivers not obeying 40km/h school zone. Crossing guard I spoke with is "scared" for her life. She is someone's grandma.
During School Crossing Guard Week, June 1–5, Peel District School Board proudly recognizes the important role crossing guards play in keeping our school communities safe.
Every day, they help students navigate busy intersections with care, professionalism, and dedication. Their steady presence supports safer routes to and from school and contributes to positive, welcoming school environments.
We extend our sincere thanks to all school crossing guards for their ongoing commitment to student safety and well-being.

🚨 Anthropic just showed a 27-minute workshop on how to actually do prompts for Claude.
Taught by the people who built it.
Free. No registration. No paywall.
I've seen $300 courses that don't cover what they teach in the first 8 minutes.
Watch it and bookmark it now.
@PeelPolice I havent been out at night in a long time, does @PeelPolice still do road checks off the highway ramps for impaired driving? If so, can we please also check for darkened plates. Too many reckless drivers with blocked plates to not be able to report them.

Here's 4 minutes exclusive gameplay of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, kindly provided by Ubisoft:
- Hood toggle feature is confirmed
- Social stealth is back, including hiding in crowds, courtesans, and sitting at benches
- You can now dive underwater seemingly ANYWHERE
- Leap of Faith confirmed, likely earned through story progression
- Eagle vision makes a return, works the same as the original with tagging enemies
- Throw money to distract NPCs is back
- You can attack enemies with the rope in stealth by pulling them towards you
- New look at parkour and combat
- Chain shoot all 4 pistols just like in the original
- Cities are part of the open world, no loading so you can simply swim out of Havana for example
Once again special thanks to Ubisoft for providing the footage! #ubisoftpartner #ad
A man spends 50 years teaching at MIT.
He knows his time is running out.
So he records one last lecture — everything he knows, distilled into a single hour.
He died 5 months later.
This is that lecture.
The most important hour you'll watch this week. 👇

Instead of watching an hour of Netflix, watch this 60 minute lecture from Steve Jobs after being fired from Apple. It will teach you more about building companies than most startup books ever will.
@citymississauga Also... Has our city council looked into what Singapore govt is doing to support their citizens in getting a starter home and ways to encourage them to start a family. This is a great way to support and grow Mississauga
