Wētā party was epic. There were thousands of people there, various rooms- silent disco, rave, jungle room with live bands, a room with interactive under sea screens including an f'ing cool octopus that swims around& stops in front of ppl & changes to the colour of their clothes
I finally made it out to see #alienromulus last night having worked on it earlier this year. I bloody loved it. As a vfx artist I loved the practical and cgi mix side by side. Proud to have had a hand in lots of bits for the final 20 minutes including that last jump scare 😱

@blauereiter It is 100% CG. Obviously the fur, but every pipe, every bolt, all the water. It’s miraculous work by the team at WĒTĀ. And there’s a lot more full CG in the movie that is full CG you’d never guess. Can’t wait for people to see the Raw version of the movie on the 4k disc.
