Introducing the Rive CLI and RML. A command-line tool and a text format for building Rive files with your AI agent.
Everything in this video was built by agents working with a person in the Rive CLI.
I repeat myself, but I’ve spent a couple of days working with Rive CLI and Claude Code to create a few internal demos (mobile app) and… blown away. Results are way better and accurate that I expected.
Tried Figma to Rive using the CLI and I'm mind-blown. It captured the exact design and executed the animation as described.
Created navigation from ranks to profile and back, then used data binding for each user's profile.
Loving what Rive is becoming day by day
🇺🇸 Iron Man himself JUMPED in to push Specs AR glasses 😎
Robert Downey Jr. signed on as the face of the new see-through glasses, and developers are already demoing full hologram scenes on Quest 3 that run entirely through Rive’s GPU renderer.
The jump from early experiments to something that feels usable is happening faster than expected.
Tony Stark did his job here 🔥

Figma to Rive now takes just a few minutes. Convert your entire Figma project to a real, working app that runs natively on mobile, desktop, web, vehicles, TVs, and consoles.
Designers, devs, and agents all work on the same file, with artist and agent friendly tools.
Characters come alive in Rive. You draw them, rig them, and give them a personality that reacts in real time.
The Rive CLI speeds up the setup work, from building scenes to testing states, so you can get to the fun part faster. The creativity is still all yours.
ai makes some tools obsolete and some tools better.
@rive_app is the latter. it’s not just the studio, it’s the portable runtime, the powerful set of tools, and the expertise built over the years in what it takes to ship animations everywhere.
i think about this a lot nowadays
Been building an interactive paleontology study in @rive_app.
You can peel a Parasaurolophus down to its skeleton, poke around its crest (it makes a sound) and line it up next to an Ankylosaurus.
Maps in Rive! This will be released as a public library for Rive so you can add it to any of your projects! It renders standard Mapbox Vector Tiles from any source (including Mapbox's own APIs). It's fully controllable, stylizable, and can be placed anywhere (in a nested artboard, rendered to a texture, etc). Uses new features like AnimaScript, Threading API, and Fetch. Everything you see is dynamically loaded and processed on the fly.
The camera API is modelled on the Mapbox Maps SDK, but also gives you full access to custom shaders, rendering Rive artboards into the maps, etc. It switches between our 2D vector renderer and 3D (GPU Canvas) based renderer depending on the camera alignment. You can also force it via a mode to use one or the other.
RESPONSIVE REAL TIME GRAPHICS?! WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!!!!????
That's simply bananas. I gotta get involved with Rive again -- probably gonna burn some Argon tokens this weekend lol
