The #dinolight is a powerful digital microscope that works great for archaeologists in the field! @AnthroMac grad student @AaronCathers is currently using it in the Brazilian Amazon to examine ceramics production from ca. 700-1100 AD #ceramics #pottery #fieldwork #archaeology

@MacAnthro grad student Dan Ionico and undergrad Nick Williams (with initial help from @AaronCathers) are working on a clay provenance study. They conduct #ceramic firing tests + petrographic analyses to understand the choices of Iroquoian potters living in Ontario 400 years ago!
