@Fourtescu @LizRowe96054287@Tesco Wasn't tesco founded by a Jewish person? Not that religion has a thing to do with my bread and milk. Still, Christianity has even less still to do with tesco.
Thank you so much Savers Aldershot ๐ฅฐ We had the 'luxury' of having our health, the car and time to go from shop to shop looking. (Even the chemist advice was to keep going back, it's a very unfunny joke.) #dontstockpile#thinkofothers#protectthevulnerable
Literally cried tears of joy.. Spent 2 days looking for paracetamol for Jai's debilitating migraines as she's off school and we're on the last couple pills and @savers_hb in the next town over(!) came to the rescue by retaining and dispensing them personally..
@absoluteradio I wouldn't eat the meal a family friend cooked us when we were kids.. so my Mum told me it was chicken stew & that the lady was a very very bad cook. I ate the liver and onions feeling super sorry for the daughter who had to eat her Mum's crap cooking everyday ๐
@GuildfordBC@EnvAgency Maybe with a risk level for each side? I dunno... Not everyone can access the info needed to put minds at ease and it can be intimidating seeing barriers and defences going up. I wonder if there's an easy way as residents that we can share accurate news fast between everyone?
So they close Leas Road to place flood barriers that don't protect the houses that flooded down there last time, put flood barriers in town and sandbagged George Abbott building but haven't even contacted residents on our road let alone offer to help protect properties here.
@GuildfordBC@EnvAgency We kept checking the river regularly ourselves ๐ (the website was saying the river was 1m higher than it was). It was hearing what was happening 2nd hand that wasn't so great. Maybe a direct message to riverside residents to say precautions were in place would have helped...
@dlenn7@GuildfordBC@EnvAgency I think if the worst did happen again, I'd like to try and get round to them to offer support etc, last time I had no idea they were struggling too until everything had passed - so we only supported our immediate neighbours โน๏ธ I'm totally sure all will be fine though!
@dlenn7@GuildfordBC@EnvAgency I've been fairly OK about it all, my kids - not so much. Education is defo key, I think we've all learned to seek the info we need to keep ourselves from going crazy, ay @dlenn7? ๐The residents river side of Leas road flood barrier must've been extra anxious tho..
Its not looking like anyone will actually flood, so no panic but it's pretty frustrating seeing where priorities lie. Besides, despite lack of support from agencies we've been inundated with offers of help from friends and family should we need it (feeling loved rn๐)
@AmazonHelp I can't say I need further help but I'm surprised the matter doesn't seem more important; Maybe I'm misreading a lack of concern. Personally, I'll reconsider where I purchase from when replacing the gift but I'm glad highlighting the issue could save it occurring again, thanks!
Why can't people just send stuff with @RoyalMail? My postie is AMAZING! @YodelOnline didn't even 'try' to deliver last package & today @AmazonUK delivery person decided to open my parcel & shove everything through the letterbox followed by the empty box๐#illegal#surpriseruined
@AmazonHelp Thanks, can't fault your speedy response times.. Already passed on relevant information prior to an Amazon colleague who let me know they were sorry, that they would pass on the information to distribution and followed with a message to inform me the conversation is complete.
Royal mail have really good customer service too, unlike yodel and amazon who seem to think their delivery people behave in acceptable ways and just want to brush concerns aside. #crap#poorservice
Have you see the excellent sunflower lanyards in your local Sainsburys? Like those used by Gatwick Airport these alert staff to customers who may have hidden disabilities and need a little support while shopping. You can ask staff in your @sainsburys store for more info.

๐ง Might be celebrating finally signing up for #Spotify premium (after aaalllll this time) right now by belting out War Pigs as loud as I can on the bestest headphones I gots ๐
Welcome to Guildford. Pay a mere ยฃ425k for a brand new apartment with a parking space on a heavily congested, uncared for road with shocking air quality. (Don't expect to need to get far in your car, to walk the path without tripping, sleep at night or dry washing outside though)
