@KAKEnews I’m sorry Derby teachers who took time to review and test this curriculum. Your professional expertise should have been valued above political agendas that are not relevant.
We’ll remember come election time who were the reasonable BOE members and who came with an agenda.
I say I voted for Kamala. People assume I’m a progressive.
I show that I’m upset about the election results. I’m told to repent and called a shrill liberal.
I’m a moderate. I’m a Christian who is conservative theologically, and in a denomination that is traditional. I’ve been a believer for over 25+ years and I have a lot of clout as a Christian in my circles. I’m well educated and been around the block a few times.
Yes, I voted for Kamala. But, not for the reasons you assume.
I voted for Kamala not because she’s a woman. Not because she’s black. But, because she’s qualified. She did not pose a threat to national security. She has never been convicted of crime. She’s never been accused of SA. She is a strong communicator, and I believe she would have brought some stability to our country. How? Through her presence. You can disagree, totally fine. But, that’s why I voted for her.
I don’t agree with all her policies, but I did think she would have made a good president. And yes, I’m disappointed that Trump was elected. I’m sad. People are allowed to be upset that their candidate lost. People are allowed to work through that frustration and express themselves.
I’ve made a point to not make this platform about politics. My heart is to help people leave cultic, coercive, and spiritually abusive relationships. I love kindness, and I want to see people united over good causes. I’m at my heart a peace maker who desires unity.
I don’t intend to continue to make political posts, but if my beliefs bother you-please, just unfollow me.
If you feel the same way I do about abuse, cults, and education - please stay. That is the heartbeat of my platform. Give me a few days to settle my soul, I just ask for your understanding and patience if you find my tweets to be insufferable.

A relentless leader creates conditions for others to perform at the top of their abilities. Elite leaders create elite cultures where people feel solidly connected. These teams succeed not because its members are smarter or more talented but because they feel safer.

Before you say "Today I HAVE to..." remember how many people would give anything to have the opportunities you do. Be grateful. Be gracious. That mindset starts with "Today I GET to..." and recognizing how blessed we are.

Highly effective leaders first build trust and only then have they earned the right to push for results. Good people want to be challenged to be the best version of self. But they will only be moved to the degree that they trust their leader. Trust first, then results.

@ty_patton It would all change if any of these legislators had someone they love accidentally overdosed by fentanyl they did not mean to ingest/consume. Such as a college student who thinks he’s taking an ADHD pill to help with finals. Or what about just ANYONE who we try to keep from dying
