Heartbreaking. Little Ukrainian boy lost his father who was protecting him and his country from the murderous Russian invaders.
Kids shouldn't experience such horrors.
Never forget. Never forgive.
At midnight, the regime raided 18‑year‑old Melika Azizi’s home and dragged her to Lakan Prison in Rasht. She’s been beaten, cut off from her family, and sentenced to death. In court she looked the judge in the eye and shouted: “You’ve spilled the blood of so many young people, how can I stay silent? It doesn’t matter to me, kill me too.” This is a teenager whose “crime” was courage. We can’t let them execute her in silence. #MelikaAzizi #StopExecutionsInIran
19 year old Iranian wrestling champion Saleh Mohammadi was just publicly executed for protesting against the Islamic Regime.
So, to all liberal Westerners:
Watch and learn.
This is what it’s like to ACTUALLY live in a nation with no free speech.
The Administration continues to be WEAK on Russia. Stop pushing Ukraine to cede more land that Russia has failed to take in its barbaric invasion. There’s a dictatorship vs a democracy… an invader vs a victim. We must clearly stand on the right side. https://t.co/DHf8kdqqKC
In 1986, Soraya Manutchehri, a 35-year-old woman from the village of Kuhpayeh, Iran, was falsely accused of adultery and subsequently stoned to death.
Her husband sought to marry a 14-year-old girl, and, unwilling to support two families or return Soraya's dowry, he fabricated allegations of infidelity against her.
With the complicity of corrupt village authorities, Soraya was unjustly convicted and executed brutally.
French-Iranian journalist Freidoune Sahebjam chronicled this tragic event in his 1990 book "La Femme Lapidée," translated into English as "The Stoning of Soraya M."
The book was later adapted into a film of the same name, portraying Soraya's ordeal's harrowing story.
in Odesa. It is so cold inside I had to pile up 8 layers of blankets and I have 3 layers of clothes. No power for the last 12 hours.
Russia weaponizes the weather. The world stands by.
I am here by choice to report. Ukrainians did not choose it. It’s their home. Nowhere to go.
Sobering words from @ZelenskyyUa in his address tonight:
“The war must be stopped. But if the world, America and Europe, does not have the power to stop Russian strikes, then who will believe there is the power to guarantee that the war will not reignite again?"
It is shocking how little coverage there is of an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine due to Russia's destruction of its energy grid. It's -20C outside and half of the country experienced a total blackout today. Metro trains stopped operating in Kyiv and Kharkiv today. Rolling blackouts have been ongoing for weeks, often with no heating and running water inside people's houses. People get sick and die because of this. In the meantime, Russians laugh and call for more strikes to punish Ukraine for its unwillingness to surrender. These are strikes affecting millions of civilians amid the harshest winter in decades. These are crimes against humanity that Russia is confident it will get away with. We cannot let that happen
Kyiv is in total blackout,
as are many parts of Ukraine.
No water, no heating, no electricity.
Severe frost outside.
This is the result of constant russian attacks.
Thank you to those few who still care.
BREAKING: At least four people were killed and two others injured when a Russian drone struck a passenger train in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region.
This comes just days after Donald Trump invited Vladimir Putin to his “Board of Peace.”
In case you had any doubts about the nature of Vladimir Putin's regime - not only is Russia kidnapping Ukrainian children, it appears some of them are being sent to camps in North Korea.
There is no room for accommodation with this kind of evil.

On December 10 at the European Parliament, during a screening of documentary films about Ukrainian children, the interpreter could not hold back tears as 11‑year‑old Roman Oleksiv from Lviv spoke.
The boy had survived the missile strike on Vinnytsia on July 14, 2022, in which his mother was killed, the last time he saw her alive.
Listen to Roman’s words, they are filled with strength. Can the world really leave children like him alone with this war?

The free world must send more weapons, including long range fires, to Ukraine, and impose more sanctions on Russia, including seizing Russian money in Western banks, to hasten the end of Putins war in Ukraine.
