- Earn less.
- Are less likely to be in leadership.
- Have fewer research opportunities.
- Spend 8.5 hours more per week on domestic responsibilities.
Yet, they spend more time with patients and provide better care.
The double standard needs to END.

When framing employee performance issue, ask yourself, is this a:
1. skill problem? (lack of expertise)
2. hill problem? (difficult task)
3. will problem? (attitude, not aptitude)
Strong managers find the root cause for low performance and make corrections.
