The discussion on the Audit Resolution by the Cape Cod Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates is absolutely worth watching!

Some Delegates initially raised concerns or questioned aspects of the resolution. But after listening to one another—and hearing the various arguments for respecting the will of the voters and preserving judicial oversight—every single Delegate, one from each Cape Cod town, ultimately voted YES.

The final vote was UNANIMOUS.

If you live on the Cape, reach out to your delegate and thank them.

If you don't live on the Cape, send a letter to your Select Board or City Council. Anyone can do it. It just takes one person to take action. (how to link in 2nd comment)

I agree we need to make certain changes in the tax code including related to social security. But what kills me is how career politicians talk about how unfair the system is when they’ve been in charge of the system for decades.

Each side has been in control (controlling the POTUS, Senate & House) multiple times. Yet, we’re still applying laws from the 1930s, 1950s, and 1960s.

🚨 It ain't over, folks. All eyes on this! State Ballot Law Commission (SBLC) Appeal Update from the Mike Walsh Campaign:

Today we filed our appeal in Superior Court challenging the State Ballot Law Commission. The Commission’s decision was arbitrary and capricious. It misstates the evidence, egregiously. The Commission, thinking it knows better, even decided that it would rewrite statutes against the plain text of what the people’s representatives voted for.

Worst of all, the Democratic Party thinks their Attorney General candidate shouldn’t face scrutiny or competition. And unelected bureaucrats and Beacon Hill insiders are trying to help them. The people deserve a choice and the political elites cannot take that away. Not if we still live in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
