Refusing to let teenage girls go to the toilet 'because they should have gone at break'? It's worth bearing in mind their period may not have started conveniently between 10.40 and 11am... and no they shouldn't have to say it...
An exciting opportunity has landed to develop ideas that support young people & children with their mental health. Limited places available: Call us 0161 440 0055 or email [email protected] - we'll go through the agenda for the event. Open to all between 11-24 years.
After 3 rejections I have an interview at Leeds, I’m in a state of disbelief 😂
If anyone is willing it would be great to speak to trainees from Leeds particularly those who have lived exp of MH difficulties so I can get a feel for the course & interview process

@heltranter how lovely for your children to have those connections; plus 2nd & 4th year they will have added more new & wonderful connections. my daughter is in her 1st of 4yrs & enjoying it more now that she’s closer to friends. social connections/support make all the difference don’t they
Just had such a good phone appointment with a GP who listened, had time for me, made great suggestions about what to try next with my HRT, explained the bulk yearly prescription charge and then suggested reading @drlouisenewson as well as using the Balance App. 🙌

@lillybelle79 what a great photo of your son 💙 with tears in my eyes & a pain in my chest, my thoughts & love are with you. I hope you find the strength to get through today, I can only imagine how impossibly difficult this day must be for you 💔
DfE please take this down. You do not know the situation for 24360 schools in England. You are not working in them. You are not caring for families who have concerns. You can not make this decision. We have already made the decision that is best for our community.
after calling 111 yesterday I was sent to Macclesfield A&E. I’d like to acknowledge & thank all the staff there who were calm, professional, approachable & friendly. Especially a nurse called Thomas Burgess for the compassion, kindness & patience he showed me. #nhs
We are currently experiencing extreme pressures in our A&E department at Macclesfield Hospital.
Please consider if you could call #nhs111 first to avoid long wait times and only attend A&E if absolutely necessary.

One of the most tragic results of the UK's living standards crisis will be its enduring effect on children. We all know how child development is negatively impacted by parents who are severely stressed by economic hardship & associated family instability.
