Only in California politics can a Dem Candidate move forward to the General Election for Governor, when not one, not two, but three former aides to his campaign team recently were indicted and pled GUILTY to stealing from the campaign to the tune of $225,000.
Three individuals associated with Xavier Becerra's political operations pleaded guilty in a federal fraud scheme involving the diversion of about $225,000 from one of his dormant campaign accounts:
Sean McCluskie: Becerra’s former chief of staff (and longtime advisor).
Dana Williamson: A former advisor and key political strategist who also served as Becerra's campaign manager.
Greg Campbell: A Sacramento lobbyist who was part of the conspiracy.
The Gateway Arch vs. Obama’s Arch
The St. Louis Gateway Arch honors the pioneers and the westward expansion of the United States. It rises 630 ft in the sky. Confident, gleaming, heroic..
And then there's the arch at the Obama Presidential Center.
A crooked, broken deformity that looks like it was built by a crackhead and it stands in front of what resembles a brutalist upside-down trash can.
Cold and depressing — and that's the point.
Great architecture inspires people. It tells them they are part of something glorious.
Brutalism crushes people. It tells them to keep their heads down and submit.
One side wants you to look up at the heavens.
The other wants you to stare at the concrete.
If the LA Mayor race is close I’d advise the Pratt campaign and any other candidate to PULL the CURE file from the county registrar TODAY. And I assume it’s easy for Pratt to just start curing Republican ballots knowing his ROI is decent. Any other candidate will have to do age and geographical targets on the Dems they cure because a Chatsworth Democrat isn’t the same as a Silver Lake one for example. Yup, I’d be CURING today, and if it ends up not being necessary no big deal.
Thanks for covering my report about Candace Owen’s very shady interactions with Russian state media, @benshapiro.
I appreciate it.
I think we can all see what’s going on… now it’s time for the DOJ to investigate. @DAGToddBlanche
I have asked the Speaker to ban Code Pink. I was just physically hit by their head organizer. This is right after I questioned Secretary Rubio about them. It is time Speaker Johnson ban them.
Bianco lost because he relied too much on his position as Sheriff and his ego made him think he didn’t have to campaign
He also said ridiculously non conservative stuff on immigration which I am sure made him lose a lot of support
Hilton was traveling all over the state
I don’t even remember Bianco coming to LA
I saw Hilton doing town halls in the valley here etc
Steve Hilton at the state Capitol announces he’s tweaking one of his campaign promises to cut state income taxes from people in California making up to $100k.
He said he’s exploring ways to try to have it apply to higher income levels.
He travelled to Bosnia where he volunteered for an Al Qaeda offshoot.
Congress would be within its rights not to seat him.
Our enemies should have no expectation they can infiltrate us from within.
