What we are witnessing in Washington is a very sad and dangerous day in America. The thugs will not win. They are losers. But there will be damage and I pray not bloodshed. This is on Trump and all who abetted his authoritarianism.
Now the real work begins.
To beat this pandemic.
To rebuild our economy.
To root out systemic racism in our justice system and society.
To combat the climate crisis.
To heal the soul of our nation.
The road ahead won't be easy. But America is ready. And so are @JoeBiden and I.
Please share with friends and family in Georgia:
If you voted absentee in Georgia, please check the status of your ballot now.
If it was rejected, you have until 5pm on Friday, November 6, to fix it and make sure your vote counts.

Here is what’s at stake with this Supreme Court nomination:
Voting rights.
Workers’ rights.
Consumers’ rights.
Safe and legal abortion.
And so much more.
We must listen to the American people and confirm a new justice after voters decide who they want in the White House.
Here, the president blames a sitting governor for an attempted plot against her while newly attacking her himself.
If he can't say anything that defends public officials against domestic terrorists, he should say nothing at all.
Incredibly sad for our great country to have this thug as our President. I am more determined than ever to help Joe Biden win, to defeat Trump and Trumpism, to help Democratic candidates replace Trump’s enablers up and down the ballot. We must win, there is no alternative.
Donald Trump is weak.
He knows he can’t win if the people vote.
So he is throwing up every roadblock he can to suppress the vote.
We, the people, can’t let him get away with it.
Government should be on the side of the people. But Donald Trump is and always has been incapable of that kind of leadership, because it involves putting the lives of our people first. He simply doesn't know how to do anything that's not all about Donald Trump.
Trump isn't running against @JoeBiden. He's running against our democracy.
Recognize this threat. Call it what it is.
Turn out in overwhelming numbers.
Let's stop him, together.
Trump is $421 million in debt. That leaves him open to political and foreign manipulation, and means that if re-elected, he could spend his term cheating more systems, currying more favors, and manipulating his executive power to stay afloat—at the expense of the American people.
