What truly makes our country great is its diversity. I’ve seen that beauty in so many ways over the years. Whether we are born here or seek refuge here, there’s a place for us all. We must remember it’s not my America or your America. It’s our America.

@dougpriestphd I called someone out as a racist recently and they agreed w me. I've been friends w this person for yrs and assumed their comments were just bad jokes and blew 'em off. After a heated debate, when I called them out, the realization I'd been harboring n excusing one horrified me.

I recently accepted a job as a personal assistant, and while that title has nothing to do with my degree in history or Eng. Lit, I am using tons of the skills I did learn and hone. I am excited, and if I cannot be an academic, this is definitely no.2 on my list of Dream Jobs!

@DrScaredWriter Maybe have a "big launch" in the place you know the most people and soft launches in places you know only a few? Or vice versa?
