I have two Twitter accounts, one for work and one for me. I realised that I have my social media organised all incorrectly. So as of today, I'm just going to be using @bronwynboweryi, After all, we can’t separate ourselves. There’s only one of me! Please join me @bronwynboweryi
The Future of Work @jacobm talks about the need to change from being Knowledge Workers to Learning Workers. Being the expert to a person who loves learning to learn makes the change hard. The result, less pressure as you don’t always have to be right. https://t.co/cTSmLlOsRc
@JamesClear Atomic Habits highlights the importance of changing our thinking about results and instead embracing the identity we want that achieves those results. It’s a tough exercise that I thought would be good to start the Year of the Rat! https://t.co/gbgOhufbzH
People who avoid personal relationships at work are not leaders but cowards. Leadership is all about relationships. @thaneBellomo#leadership#greatleaders https://t.co/fYfIR5ZrQK
@VossNegotiation Never Split the Difference, highlights that soft skills, like active listening, are actually enablers of hard skills. We admire negotiation skills but don’t value them. For those that take time to gain these skills defines them as a leader.https://t.co/1AgiAIIoVt
I agree we need to create roles for #strategic#innovation. I don’t agree that this needs to be overseen by a “senior” innovation council. Diversity is critical to innovation. The two words ‘senior’ and ‘innovation’ seems like a contradiction. @babson

Last week was one of the toughest week’s. We had to put our 9-year-old cat Fernando down as he had quickly deteriorated with kidney failure. Watching my 17-year-old son, animal lover, vegetarian, hold the cat while it took its final breath was both courageous and heartbreaking.
Living and working in a city can sometimes lead us to lose touch with nature. Nature strengthens and fulfils us. Working in a city requires a conscious commitment to going for a walk or sitting in a park each working day. My holiday to Loch Lomond in Scotland totally fulfilled me
On the 25th January, the #YearOfTheRat begins. The rat symbolises fertility, flexibility, adaption and resilience. Rats do survive in most disasters! So Happy #ChineseNewYear and may you have a great year building your #resilience.
@jgcarrier I think it is great to be aware of events in history that may have influenced people. There are so many other factors also to include and as each group ages how does this impact them?
@JamesClear Do whatever your parents are interested in, which may include just sitting down in Central Park and watching people passing by. Just getting a feel for the city rather than ticking off the 17 things to do.
The Lesson to Unlearn. “The link between work and authority erodes.” @paulg demonstrates the importance of thinking differently. There is a difference between understanding what is of value and what is valuable. https://t.co/HCMAQwDPMX
The concept of New Years resolutions seems to have well and truly been proven as a bad concept. Alli Polin suggests instead to choice one word that best symbolises what you want in 2020. My #wordoftheyear for #2020 is transformation. What’s yours? https://t.co/WyUu4jrf6j
