In 2017 was either insane Brexit accelerationism or the British Gorbachev and both of those were going to bury the regime, one way or another. Starmerism is an artificial creation that exists to try to put these outcomes off and nothing more. It stinks of this purposelessness
Imv there are two real journalistic questions here: (1) which part of the Labour apparatus, staffed by dead-eyed right-wing creeps, leaked this & why; (2) if Starmer honestly thinks it's a resigning matter, why did he appoint her given he had full knowledge of the issue?
There it is. The Labour leadership is governing on behalf of BlackRock. They want to use Public-Private Partnerships to hand over control of our key infrastructure to asset management firms. You’ve seen what happened to Thames Water. They want that everywhere. Let’s stop them
I think the figures here are broadly not that accurate but taking them at face value — they are claiming that land worth £10m only generates £72,000 per year in profit or a yield of 0.72%. They would literally be better off selling the farm and investing in gilts.
I wonder if there’s a reason that the value of the land is so high compared to the annual profit? Some kind of tax-avoidance related reason perhaps?
There are a lot of things to dig in and talk about in the election results but the most basic explanation — deeply negative views of the economy from the swing voters that were decisive — is the clearest and where most interpretations of the results need to start.
This is literally the opposite of what happened!

has anyone made a clear argument all day for why all British farmland being owned by Nestlé or whoever would actually be worse than it being split among tens of thousands of moronic petit-bourgeois reactionaries, who get huge subsidies to run straightforwardly bad businesses
the problem with tackling "wasteful government bureaucracy" is it's like deleting files from your computer called hostserver.dll that look useless and take up a lot of space but then your computer stops working
mostly it makes sense to know what you don't know but some guys genuinely believe they are "quick learners" who can "get up to speed" on everything and those are the guys that break everything when they get any power
What do you mean the argument is that Maccabi fans incited the violence?
They perpetrated violence. They attacked bystanders on the streets. They attacked a Moroccan taxi driver. They threw things at private homes and burned flags.
While chanting and singing not the language of pogrom, but of genocide, while marching through a city with an Arab population demanding their physical extermination.
Do you accept this or not, keeping in mind this is all on camera?
A yes or no will do!
