Tip: If you use Starlink Mini Kit for your internet needs, unlike the Standard Gen3 kit that has an external router, the Starlink Mini dish is an all in one device, meaning the router is inside the mounted dish.
This naturally weakens your connection strength, worse if your house has a double brick wall. Folks with big houses experience this more, especially if itโs mounted at one end of the house.
It is advisable to get a mesh node or indoors router to boost your signal strength. If you check under the Mini dish where you plugged in your power cable, there is an empty Ethernet port. Get a waterproof Starlink Ethernet cable, plug it in, and route it into the house alongside your power cable. Then just plug it into an external router, turn on Bypass Mode in the app, and you can thank me later.
