This morning a fire broke out on a mountainside just a half mile up from my home.

My filming and video work is done by a firefighter friend, Brent Harding, who didn't text me back because he's on that mountainside defending my neighborhood right now.

On average, firefighters experience 30 traumatic events A YEAR. The average person? 0-1 in a lifetime.

The Firefighter Support Foundation, founded by Brent, is a registered non profit that focuses on post-trauma care for firefighters and paramedics, police, military, and other first responder professionals.

They operate on 65k a year in overhead, and have an overhead to benefit ratio that is significantly better than the national average.

Their podcast has national reach. Just in the last two weeks, a fire station in Virginia was their top viewer.

They provide therapy services, counseling, brotherhood, group activities, a place to socialize locally, and resources for departments to use all over the country.

Chances are, a firefighter in your community has benefited in some way from Brent's work.
