@jdnoc Yeah, I have zero kids and I don't complain about "school"/property taxes because, you know, children are the future, and good local public schools benefit everyone and the community? Like good parks, fire departments, and libraries.

@DiaryofaSickGrl MS has treatments - mostly with heavily unpleasant side effects, and almost all are not effective on everyone. (See: me.) They need to find a cure - but that would not make enough profit, I guess?

@DiaryofaSickGrl I have problems powering anything and I have the Dyson Cordless Stick Animal 8 series and it performs like a dream. You do have to clean the brush but the canister is easy to clean out and you have to wash a HEPA filter once a month. Super light and it's never broken once.

@blgtylr Haruki Murakami's best work are his short stores: After Dark, or After the Quake. Margaret Atwood's best book was Blind Assassin (next up: Bluebeard's Egg.) Edith Wharton's best book was the unfinished Buccaneers; same with Jane Austen's Sanditon.

@DiaryofaSickGrl Most of us who've been sick for a while have tried a ton of things already. Like, going sugar, dairy, gluten-free? Check. Physical therapy? Various modalities of therapy? Check. "Magic" supplements? Energy treatments? I mean, we've been there, done that.

@ChrisAlvino There is some evidence that a few antidepressants help more than many treatments. Have you heard this? A Texas doctor was experimenting with them during early covid, and noticed some patients on antidepressants did much better with covid than others. Might be worth exploring?
