@SAIYANFPS NVIDIA Ultra Low Latency limits the maximum framerate in D3D9, D3D10 and D3D11 games at particular refresh rates using this formula:
1000/((1000/x)+(25/87)) where x is the refresh rate
There now appears to be close to 900 packages, in the Arch Linux User Repository (AUR) which contain malicious code (including keyloggers).
Which means we are closing in on 1% of the entire AUR containing deliberately malicious code.
More than 400 packages in the Arch User Repository (AUR) have been found to contain malware in a major supply chain attack.
According to security researchers at Sonatype, attackers took over abandoned AUR packages by posing as trusted maintainers.
They modified the packages to download a malicious npm dependency called atomic-lockfile, which contained code designed to steal information and maintain access to infected systems.
Arch Linux’s official repositories were not affected. The attack impacted only the AUR, a community-maintained collection of package build scripts.
Arch maintainers have removed the malicious packages and blocked the accounts involved. The number of affected packages grew to more than 400 before the campaign was discovered.

@japan_nobunaga For Ireland, the UK, Malta and Cyprus, because their sockets have shutters preventing small children from poking into the live contacts, Europlugs will not fit unless the earth pin is inserted with a stick-like implementation and this has a chance of damaging the Europlugs...
@japan_nobunaga In Europe, low-power devices like smartphones, laptops, tablets and radios normally use the Europlug (C), which works across broad majority of household sockets in use in continental Europe, including but not limited to Schuko (F), French (E), Italian (L) and the Swiss (J).
So, here's the two immediately relevant things with 27.x:
First of all:
- A13-A14/M1 now utilize SPTM
- A12Z continues to utilize PPL (making the A12Z iPad Pro's the final PPL devices remaining)
This isn't overly surprising - macOS 26.4 did expand SPTM to the non-base M1 SoC's, so it was only a matter of time before it got expanded to A14/M1 (and A13 too for some reason).
Second of all: every remaining checkm8 device is dead with 27.x:
- Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K 1st Generation are dropped from tvOS support
- T2 was already known to die due to the death of Intel-based Macs
- The A8 HomePod also has not gotten a 27.0 beta as of now
A collector discovered the missing life-size Cartoon Network statues from the company's headquarters in a barn listed on Facebook Marketplace
It includes Ben 10, Billy & Mandy, Bloo, Jake, Spidermonkey, and more
@heynavtoor One major gripe I have about VLC is the lack of a native ability to skip next or previous track in folder like MPC-HC (and its fork MPC-BE and its Linux inspiration mpc-qt) achieved ages ago until I found out about this .lua script: https://t.co/vwj1bCZFkl
