Surely the clever move for Starmer would be to call a leadership election today, i.e. Do a John Major.
Not give Andy Burnham the momentum to prepare.
Assuming here that Starmer has been getting prepared, and Burnham hasn't had capacity with the by-election.
@AlesPour1@OTregub Putin will when he feel's he either can't win or he is personally in danger. Hasn't reached that yet in his mind, but might be close with what is starting to happen is Moscow.
When that happens, he wants Ukraine in the weakest position possible, in his mind.
@philosophicweb@SimiValleyGuru@ItsTheEnforcer As much as I detest Hezbollah Caroline, this is incorrect. Ive been tracking this closely Israel carried out three strikes yesterday inside Lebanon prior to this. I'm not saying they were wrong in doing so, but factually they did strike first post signing of the MOU.
Now we have a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Iran and USA might not be a bad idea to check out my article from April 1st, outlining why the regime was likely to survive.

Given events over the last day, what would I do putting myself in Putin's mind.
Probably use a tactical nuke as a strategic call to a ceasefire and negotiations.
I welcome this Labour Governmentโs announcement to ban social media for under 16s. This landmark move reflects the change many parents and young people have been campaigning for.
Today, I asked the Secretary of State to also consider a cross-Government approach to protect vulnerable young adults from being targeted online by far right and religious extremists, sexual predators and organised criminal gangs.
